Surprisingly hyped. I haven't owned a Nintendo system in over 12 years and this will be the first one I buy.

i'm super hyped on the hardware. an HD portable is exactly what I wanted, and being able to hook it up to a TV is a *fantastic* bonus.

if Nintendo doesn't completely shit the bed with launch and 3mo games i'm completely sold.

if they drop weak as fuck launch and early titles like what happened to the WiiU it's over. not even the hardware tailored to my needs won't be enough

About a 6, but tentatively could go higher depending on what's revealed in January.

Extremely reliant on the lineup of games. The whole idea of shitty hardware (comparatively speaking) but neat games had become standard nintendo for me at this point. If it sees pokemon or monster hunter or something cool like that, a pretty good 7-8.

8. Love everything about the system but nintendo has been so fucking shit lately in terms of censorship and games in general.

I'm mortified, so a 3, I guess. after the WiiU's catastrophic life, if it was ever alive to begin with, I don't have high hopes for this thing, especially since it's so fucking gimmicky. On top of that, if this thing really is the successor to the 3DS, then I'm worried all the stuff the 3DS had won't be able to make the transition to home console, and let's face it, that's exactly what this thing is, there is no way in hell it's going to be portable, and will die off as a result. Sony is already doing their damndest to wipe the Vita from existence, with Nintendo leaving the handheld market there will be nothing left.

After getting literally pissed on with the wii u I would say fucking ZERO.

3 hour battery life, and knowing Nintendo, the sleep mode will last less than a day. You kinda expect low tier technology when it comes to Nintendo.

It's going to be as portable as the WiiU's tablet- such shit battery life trying to run skyrim and the like you won't be able to go to another room for more than an hour before having to return to charge the fucking thing.

Most 3DS devs already moved to phones, steam, and PS4 user. Even the new Bravely Default is a phone game. Why would that not continue?

At the moment, about a 5-6.

Too many unknowns about the launch titles, improvements to online/their account system, Virtual Console and how it will do (where you have to spend money to access your titles), etc.

With that said, my interest is at that point where I might pick one up near or at launch if it has a solid line up. I waited a bit for both the 3DS and Wii U due to bad launches (That 3DS launch was one of the worst I have seen from a Nintendo console)/lack of interest.

I'm sure they are gonna get sales from kids wanting it and manchildren fanboys.

Switch isn't going to "revive" Nintendo, but I wouldn't be surprised if it does better than the Wii U.
