But this was the only good way to make a sequel for cheers. A show about norm would be him doing the exact same thing he had been doing since even before the start of cheers, Sam had already had his character development fleshed out, and no one would watch a show about cliff. Plus frasier had plenty of allusions to cheers and I remember a few episodes where he would call norm on the phone to brag to him about something.

The only people who don't like frasier are either people who are so stupid they can't deal with a sitcom that breaks certain conventions of the genre (like no location shots before a scene) or people that are too dense to realize it's not a pretentious show, rather it makes fun of pretentious people every episode

I can't seem to get back to Frasier's apartment after the mission where you throw the brick through the art gallerys window. The police keep getting informed, Niles and Frasier are too scared to face Martin and I get a game over.
