Crash Twinsanity

Why is the writing and voice acting in this game so fucking good? Feels like I'm playing a funny cartoon with bad mechanics

Here are the goat tier cut scenes

>Bad mechanics
What

>tfw never beat this because I always died at Ant Agony

The mechanics are bad

Unfinished is the more accurate word

had this game been finished it would have been the best post-naughty dog crash

Did they forget to add half the sound effects in this game?

They are clunky and glitchy. They are bad.

Like I said. Unfinished. Not bad.

Dude, you can say that about every game then

Mechanics are bad because they are "unfinished"

How the fuck are the mechanics clunky? Are you a retard who doesn't know how to use a controller? The controls are about as tight as they can be for a game that was rushed out the door before it was ready. It controls just fine.

Yeah some odd parts where the game is dead silent and you expect noise

The game was only like 20% finished.

Give me some reasons why the mechanics are inherently bad without using glitches as an example and maybe I'll take your argument seriously.

Even if it's unfinished is still the best post-ND Crash, which one would you say it's instead?

I couldn't get past the frozen ship level. The furthest I got was the walrus

>Clunky
Small jump distance. Double jump doesn't always register properly. Model constantly gets caught or stuck on the terrain. Hit detection when you spin is inconsistent. I finished the game, so I doubt it's because I'm bad which is a convenient excuse you retards use to defend bad mechanics

All the "chase" parts were hard for me

>dont use a reason why they're bad as an example of why theyre bad

Lol fuck off

>Small jump distance

Stop sucking, this has literally never been a problem for me.

>Double jump doesn't always register properly.

I smell bullshit, because once again this has never been a problem for me.

>Model constantly gets caught or stuck on the terrain.

Valid point, but this is due to the unfinished nature of the game. This doesn't make the mechanics themselves bad. Even then this never happened to me enough for it to become a problem

>Hit detection when you spin is inconsistent.

See the first two points

Basically, despite the last sentence, your reasoning for the mechanics being bad mostly boils down to "I suck at the game."

Tell me this then. If there were no glitches, would you say the mechanics are bad?

Best song in the god damn game

Was the NTSC version more polished than the PAL? I've noticed a lot of odd differences between the two but I never played PAL.

>yfw Twinsanity's Dingodile boss fight iis the best fucking fight in the entire series

The way Dingodile's stomping shakes the arena and grunts whilst doing so is an amazing detail that really adds an imposing sense of weight to his character

Another great detail is how the thermometer on his flamethrower will change colour depending on his attacks

That part where you had to push a ball was fucking bullshit

The game plays fine to me
