Ok Sup Forums tell me why this video game is good
>inb4 reasons that the game is good
Those dont count radert

I AM MORE THAN A ROBOT. DIE, OP.

stage design is rushed to all hell, but the Wily Stages while using the adapters was pretty cool.

Wily Capsule was bullshit though. Felt barely play-tested. Which given the game's three-month development time...

There's something really wrong about the sound effects on this game, but I can't really point what

FREEZE CRACKER

OK, let's see:
>Alternate paths through levels
>Protoman's shield is usable
>Super Mega Man armor
>Neat secrets like Ghosts n' Goblins song, and Vs. mode
>Weapons do things in levels, making them utilities
>Weapons actually have affects on bosses instead of doing a lame extra percent on the right boss
>Wrong weapons have negative affects on bosses, making experimentation dangerous and fun while learning the boss order
>Auto

Really nice sprites, some good sight gags, and plenty of replayability with the collectables like Protoman's shield and the armor.

I think I like 8 more thanks to it's music and art design, but I like VII a hell of a lot more than 10 or 5.

The sprites are good.

>Wrong weapons have negative affects on bosses, making experimentation dangerous and fun while learning the boss order
Wait, really?

Yes. Try using thunderbolt on Spring man, or Freeze Cracker on Freeze Man.

To date I can still beat Wily without taking a hit, you're just shit or didn't commit enough.

It's got decent level design, classic Megaman. Other than that bullshit final boss, it's well balanced. Soundtrack is pretty good too, like its predecessors it evokes the theme of each level quite well. Aesthetically the game is pleasing to the eye, although I must admit that like Rockman and Forte, it all looks a bit cramped.

Overall, a decent Megaman game, not perfect but pretty good.

>Wily Capsule was bullshit though
I don't know if there's something wrong with me but I never had problem with anything on MM7, but them I never defeated King in R&F and never saw anyone calling that fight hard

It alright. You can put in a passcode to fite all 8 robot masters so you have no excuse to complain about 4 at a time.

But I hate how edgy Megaman is in it.

If you didn't hear people call the final fight with King hard, it's probably because too many people ragequit during the King Machine boss fights.

Everyone else seems to have trouble with him, including me. His pattern just seems wild, and he hits hard.

King has an annoying charge-up attacks where you have to rapid shoot the laser canon before it fires.

But I don't remember that much pain besides that.

Yeah, that was me. I gave up on that part

How about you try to attack it?

I'm talking about these fuckers.

>Auto
My fucking nigga, I wish he would appear in more stuff and have greater roles
>On the box art, you can see Auto just below Wily, and he's shooting another robot
>He doesn't do that in the game
Fuck Capcom for teasing that

Use Danger Wrap on Slashman, he bounces it back to your face
Use Thunderbolt on Springman, he starts pulling you hard
Use F.Cracker on Freezeman, he dabs and restores health

Y'know, you're supposed to ignore good arguments. What kind of moron would say that Junk man, Cloud man, Spring man, Shade man, or Turbo man are fast-paced boss fights? And Slash man is just an unfun cunt.

Freeze man and Burst man are pretty fun, though.

Unless that isn't your screenshot ignore greentest
>Using remote mine on bosses that aren't groundman
You use copy vision instead, and equip the energy saver upgrade.

At least he survived during the X years.

Also he had some role in mm8.

Also if you use Thunderbolt on Turboman he turns invincible and tries to run you over

I know, but still. He would be amazing to play as and do stuff.

He's always invincible when he tries to run you over. Reminded me of that annoying cunt Charge Man.

It's why he's the few guys I actually bother to use his weakness on.

How about a 3rd Arcade style game, with him and Roll playable?

Huh never knew that spring man can be OHKO.

youtu.be/dnL3PIdh-c8

Looks like a pain in the ass to pull off.

Neat!

Hell, I'll take anything with him. It would be a HUGE stretch with almost no possibilities, but him actually appearing in a Mega Man X game just to help out X
I really like Auto, one of my favorite of all time, dare I even say, husbando

I'm too busy holding my breath for MMX9 to add any hopes on top.

>like the music
>love the sound fx
>even like the art style even though I hated 8's

There ya go.

Also works on Turbo man

Or maybe a game where he's in it and explains what happens between the MM and MMX series (assuming him surviving until X3 ia real and not some bullshit gag)

I think the gap may be best left unexplained, but maybe they could put a nice spin on it. As long as it doesn't keep us from getting games like MM11 in the future.

And yeah, his appearance was almost certainly a gag, I'm sorry user.

I know,. Shame that the best characters are either joke and/or background characters

They made 7 in three months. The fact that it didn't turn out as bad as it could've been is kinda impressive.

That's impossible. There's so much polish and interactivity with weapons.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mega_Man_7#Development

> Due to "bad timing", the development team had to work under a very tight, three month schedule to complete Mega Man 7.[2][13]

They must have gone without sleep that entire 3 months.

It's not Mega Man 8

Megaman is much bigger in this game so you can see him better.
