Just beat Joten-Jima. I had everything all fucked up before I entered the fight assuming it was as easy as the sonar guy. Boy was I mistaken. She nearly tore my ass off and fucked it. My last 10 hit points and a forgotten boom shroom saw me the victor. Fuck this game is super addictive.

I have a shit ton of blue prints and almost to 2 star crossbow. I even found an ultra rare blueprint for something called a "Flame Wand" needs a fuck ton of high level shit like rosewood to R&D though.

So, just started this game. Are fists worthy upgrading? I'm a boxingfag and I always go full bare hands autism in every game that allows it. Am I destinated to get fuck endlessly later on in the tower?

fists are really good, you'll unlock the hammer punches and they deal a shit ton of damage, they're kinda too good for a weapon that's meant to be a last resort,
also, dropkicks are amazing, learn to get gud with landing them.

Just beat the 2nd Don. Anyone else feel like they spent significantly less time in 11-20 than they did 1-10? Feels like I have all of 1-10 memorized while 11-20 is still fresh to me, and now the only reason I have to go back there is for mats.

I have mastery 16 fists. Takes a good number of punches to kill people while invading while machetes 1-2 shot them

The final boss takes away all your equipment and forces you to use your fists, so get those fuckers to mastery 20 anyways

Not really, no. Been playing for 8 days and I'm still on floor 10-20 farming materials for blueprints.

Call it autism but I need to craft everything to + till I can move on to the higher grounds.

mastery is completely irrelevant for the final boss. You just need to use rage to knock the enemies off the platform and you get all your weapons back after doing that twice.

Absolutely, kill everything with your fists at the start at least until you unlock the R1 attack which is amazing. Fists are the most important thing to upgrade above all else considering they are literally the only thing in the game that you will always have.

The cash shop doesn't let you get in-game gold, and you need that to do anything.

Ive been busy the past few days and I finally got back to where I could play.

Killed the mid-boss at level 23 and now its like i'm just kinda burnt out I guess. I was so excited to get back into playing nonstop and having fun but now the grind for mats is somehow more apparent, and I feel like ive killed the GOTO on floor 11 like 40 times and im still nowhere near finished because it takes so many damn green metals and the drop rate is so low.

Maybe ill take a break for a few days and catch up on some reading.

the gold chest runs you have to do on floor 22 are a million times worse than just killing goto on 11. Locking materials to certain bosses and then not even putting all the bosses in each tier was completely fucking retarded. Milk material shouldn't even exist below red.

Yeah I ran the path to the gold chest on 22 a few times with no luck, iirc the floor name is kawagara or something like that.

Its weird because i'm now at the point where i'm not really worried about dying. I was playing only collector and shooter and once I got to floor 20 I tried out striker and everything is so much easier.

Before playing collector I would feel my heart race when shit would get tough. Also having the lifeshrooms handy makes so much of the challenge trivial.

I was having way more fun when I was bad at the game and every screamer encounter was a struggle to survive.

The only issue I really have with the game is the haters.
If they changed it to where only tier 1 haters w/ tier 1 weaons spawned in the first 10 floors, then tier 2 haters w/ tier 2 weapons in the next 10 floors, etc, I think it'd be much better.
As it is, there's a shitton of tier 3 max level haters all around the first few floors when I'm just searching for mats, it's not really fun to deal with them.

Got to floor 19. It's gonna start getting annoying from here on out, isn't it? I dunno so far it's been grindy but in a fun way. I get the feeling after floor 20 it's going to go down hill and my fun:annoyance ratio is going to become lopsided the other way.Especially since the spot I found yesterday to grind weapon exp and money is gone.

shit gets really tedious after 20 because of stat inflation. You need to spend 20 hours grinding for upgrades on floor 22 to get back to around the same speed you were killing enemies at floor 19. It stops being possible to have actual proper fights with bosses because of how many hits they take and how much damage they begin to deal so before you fight each one you need to just grind for a bunch of mushrooms that break the fights.

I guess it was fun while it lasted. If it kept the general level of difficulty that it's at now it would be rather fun. From what I've been seeing though it just gets tediously stupid after where I'm at. A shame but I guess that's to get people to buy death metals.

if you can ambush them, use the frongus (lots of frogs to get it from) to incapacitate them, then just hit them with your best attacks while they're spasming
