Windows 10 is actually doing well for games, more so on other platforms though.

They've also released some great ports, and have made UWP somewhat worthwhile.

The Store itself, however, was created by retards and still hasn't been fixed. That's the problem right there.

Well me and my family are sticking with Windows 7 (and macOS Sierra for my Macbook), but the average normie went on and installed Windows 10. Right now Windows 7 is only as big as it is because sysadmins didn't "upgrade" to it.

Also you're including all these small percentage groups running less supported and more outdated Operating systems, unless those stats are fresh, most of them probably don't play as much as the Win 10 or Win 7 group. There's not telling how active they are.

Odds are if you want to play games, you're going to be running Windows 10. 7 is still an option, but not much.

My gaming PC is frozen at 2011 specs and won't get any hardware upgrades or software updates.

It'll be irrelevant soon anyway because nearly half the population does more than half of their internet usage on a phone. Even after the patches stop coming I will seek to continue gaming on a linux system (zorin OS looks cute, otherwise ubuntu, as all it takes to move from one system to another is to back up /home folder), as I do not believe windows 10 will ever be as stable as win7.
On top of that if there are no permanent ways to disable telemetry a.k.a microshaft seeing what do you do at all times, then I won't ever let that shit on any of my machines, or machines belonging to my family.
