Cause Legacy is shit.
Slow as fuck flash game tier duels with no effort still images story mode.
They didnt even bother making the jn game packs look like real packs, something the old games always did.
Legacy of the Duelist feels so fucking cheap. Play WC games or Tag Force, blows this shitout of the water.

Specific cards are too hard to get.

But that isn't Duel Academy for the GBA.

It's okay, but I feel like the tag force series is better overall for single player, and ygopro is of course better for online.
The animations bug me especially. Ugly as shit, wish you could turn them off or speed them up.

I prefer Magic too, but I like playing the Yu-Gi-Oh video games against AI. Never against other players though, too much brain space invested in Magic metas and no space for yugioh metas.

Rituals were my favorite card type, and I don't like Synchros/XYZs/Pendulums at all, and I only tolerate fusions.

They do, but the tutorial duels always make you do completely stupid things anyway, like tributing stronger monsters instead of weaker ones, or not setting traps, or other shit.
They're not good tutorials, but they do teach the new summon type for each season in the most basic way.

actually there was never a "the archetype" for umi in the first place, just some really shit cards that get effects when umi is on the field, which they still do.
you'd be skimping on the new spell's effects if you wanted to summon them since they are effects, but umi clones' usual "everything gains levels or monsters in hand lose 1 level and gains a wimpy 200" was a waste of text anyways and never mattered

I mean I get that it's a bit too soon to hit molmorat but why hit the generic search card instead of the in-archetype "tenki" that special summons from deck. You still get your molmorat combos just not as consistently/wasting your normal summon to do it.
