Will games cost $40 like handheld games?

Will games cost $40 like handheld games?

Or $60 like console games?

Or $50?

I bet one of the reasons they're marketing this as a home console is to sell the games at $60.

60 of course.

First Party Nintendo games always go for $79.99, even when it's trash like Mario Tennis Wii U. They're probably going to charge that for every single game given that it's technically a home console.

sucks to live in your area then

t. Canadacuck

$59.99 for Mario Run tier shovelware and Ubisoft's Just Dance
NINTENDOMINATION BABY!

games weren't $60 on the wii u

...

I'm ready to die now

THICC

$60 of course. They are selling you console experiences on a handheld. Gotta recoup the more expensive development.

someone actually made this

>you will never ever get to stick your penis inside a plastic dog's ass

$60

how else could this game have support from 3rd parties? EA isn't going to sell their cross platforms for $60 on xbone / ps4 and $40 on switch

$60
Third parties won't want to sell their "console experiences" for less
Of course, this is assuming third parties actually bother this time

Yes they were.

oh

Even at 50 I would bought a few more Wii U games. 60 for smash (considering I would only play with my wife) is not really worth it for me.

nobody cares about your wife or girlfriend so there's no need to drop it in, normie

Wow, someone is really sore about it.

I'm sorry I meant my twink partner.

Its pretty obviously going to depend on the game and its budget.

Something like Pheonix Wright they could never get away with selling for 60

It depends. Nintendo was experimenting with prices with the Wii U a little with some 40, some 60. For their bigger franchises, expect 60. For some weird experimental games, 40. Like don't expect the next Fire Emblem to be 40 when they make the jump to Switch.

That's already happening. VNs are going for like 60 bucks on home consoles. However the prices start dropping like immediately probably because nobody wants to buy them at that price.

aren't carts more expensive than discs? and since they're home console-tier games it's not like they're making little handheld cartridges so I guess they will be on the pricier sie

>aren't carts more expensive than discs?
that didn't stop 3DS games from charging $40

read the REST of my post

I hope it'll be a $50 in between of the two, but I have a feeling it'll be $60.
