Did you climb the tower today, senpai?

Did you climb the tower today, senpai?

Your game is garbage desu

>first time playing
>die on floor 2
>first revive is free sweet l
>almost done with floor 3 and its going well now
>want to open the map
>press the touch pad like the retard I am
>eat a boomshroom wich kills me
Since then I didnt pass floor 3, and im on my 10th try

I still wait for my PC version.

>Equip magnum with left hand
>He holds it in right hand, goes into aiming mode with left trigger, shoots with right trigger, and aims down right shoulder
>instead of aiming down left shoulder and reversing controls
Why?

because it's a 2h weapon

Utilize the elevators and level up often and early

Also don't carry boomshrooms until you've memorized which side of the touchpad does what or else you're asking to blow yourself up

But in dark souls you can use your left hand for two-handed weapons, that's not a viable excuse. Plus, it would be beneficial if you could use it in your left hand to aim down your left shoulder when turning right in corners.

This, hope it comes out by Xmas so my wife's son can play it on the gaming laptop we're giving him.

>handgun
>no option to one-hand it at the cost of lower accuracy
Why

>But in dark souls

I really do not get the appeal of this game at all. The US GAMERS humour isn't funny and it mostly feels like a watered down Suda. The combat isn't anything special, it is mostly just try and stun lock the opponent rather than anything creative. the F2P elements aren't aggressive but they do get in the way. The levels are very repetitive and ugly to look at. The load times are even bad

I just don't see anything this game does particularly well, if it weren't for the Grasshopper name I doubt people would touch this game

>But this game did it better
And? What is your point in quoting me?

>why do people like monster hunter
>why do people like dragons dogma
>why do people like witcher 3

BECAUSE ITS FUN

Well I want to, but unless I git gud and manage to go from floor 2 to the elevator on floor 3 without dying, theres only 1 opportunity to go back and level up. Should I backtrack just before floor 3 to go level up?

Just killed my first Don. I think I'm just driven to beat it because its a tower

user I like let it die but to him you may just literally be naming games that he likes better for reasons related to the fact his criticisms don't apply to those games and really you're telling him nothing but egotistically and pridefully boasting that you like it and there's nothing he can do to stop it

>I just don't see anything this game does particularly well, if it weren't for the Grasshopper name I doubt people would touch this game

Being free might have something to do with it too.

Yeah I was climbing earlier last night, decided to start from floor 1 again and starting working on leveling my fists up more, I also beat the shit out of the first mini boss with my bare hands and only got hit once. Feels good.

I keep getting distracted by frogs though. They're adorable.

I got to the carnival area then the floor 30 boss Crowley. It became too much of a No Fun Zone for me. Being one-shotted by a cheap boss or cheap developer haters eventually stops being fun after a while.

>But this game did it better

That's not a reason to like it user I like it because It has great sound
, controls, and art direction that lead to satisfying gameplay and I like the polish and nuance of the game like how if you don't die for a long while the girl will say "long time no see" after dying

Yes, a game that gives you the option to use your left hand to handle two-hand weapons is superior to the similar game that doesn't give you said option under that category. And?

Today I had about an hour to play and decided to just farm some mats in some offshoot area only to discover it was taking me right up to a new main level. Got barely any mats and fought my first grapple tuber who nearly killed me and left me at 50 hp. Came to a big room with one of those psycho spinner bastards and four or five screamers at the bottom but a hater was there so I decided to play safe and let him deal with them, but he got killed very quickly. When I decided to just take a chance on them as I descended I discovered a boomshroom which did most of the work for me, and up on the next level I found Uncle Death congratulating me nearby a boss room and elevator. When I get back from work I'll gear up and take the son of a bitch down. It was a good climb.

Thanks for reading my blog please like & subscribe.

Hey man, I like it too but being free to play certainly isn't a detractor.

>art direction
grey bricks with some brown?

This isn't exclusive to Let It Die but I wasn't a fan of the F2P resource grind. If your game makes me grind at the chance of maybe getting needed resources or maybe getting the blueprints for a good weapon then it can fuck right off.

I think you either haven't given it enough credit, or you haven't gotten past floor 10.

There's a lot of great religious symbolism in much of the art in the game, and it also contains satisfying attack animations alongside the sound direction as well as the doom-comic-esque kill animations. I also like many small things like all the different yoga shroom poses.

The game isn't designed in the same way as Dark Souls, user. DaS has PVP so having unique ways of equipping things and one-handing two-hand weapons and whatnot all has a purpose for confusing/faking out your opponent, where in LiD the AI wouldn't notice nor care.

But you are right that there should be some way to switch shoulder-aim.

Because there are other weapons (crossbow and fireworks for example) that do that.

BUT IN THE STONE AGE...

You cant use only one hand for bows, so treat this like a bow. There's a crossbow and a shotgun if you need one handed ranged weapons.

>no experience in the game
>2nd character
>level 27 developper hater on floor 1
>well shit Ill do what I can
>me using Iron 0-0-0-18
>him with the Iron 12-12-12-46
As a new player, shit like this doesnt make me want to play more

You get grind as a punishment tho

But those both do shit damage
Not sure about fireworks, but the crossbow even at +4 with full mastery can't down a lv 25 hater without using 10 or more bolts
Also that exploding firework perk isn't good

You can sneak past him or sneak attack him on the first floor, use the ledge behind him to drop kick him then stomp his ass, preferably after consuming a dmg bosting shroom.

Or again just sneak away.

What? You simply have to grind once you unlock higher grade characters. There's F2P grind all over this piece of shit. I'm honestly surprised the jews at GungHo don't sell leveling potions or some shit.

>isn't good
Your just not using it correctly then sempai, gotta group enemies together.

How is level grinding f2p when you can't pay money to level up?

When you peel off a decal do you get it back or does it disappear for good?

Because he's just shouting buzzwords now, he's already starting to complain about Jews, oy vey

And the reason the magnum does so much better damage-wise is because you have to sacrifice the ability to melee whilst holding it and you have to aim with it. Balancing.

And they're not so bad if you've got good dex.

>grouping enemies
Unless it's to escape from haters I'd rather not lest I get trapped and stunlocked against a buzz saw and a steamiron

Premium decals stay, regular ones do not.

Because when you factor in that developer haters are based on the highest unlocked set of floors you have it's a system by which they're trying to expend your death metal resources and get you to buy more.

Or you just grind for the kill coins needed to get your people back from even higher floors, which gets ridiculous once you get into the 30s.

Only if it's premium (the ones from the mushroom stew)

I dont even know why im still playing the game when the entire thing has devolved into running the same 3 rooms for crafting materials to deal with stat inflation. It wouldn't be as bad if the levels were actually randomized and not just the same layout with 2 different possible entrances

Fireworks is a ranged weapon, user, you shouldn't be putting yourself in a position where they can melee you to begin with if you're going to use it.

Okay, so if I want to transfer decals to a new fighter I have to buy some new ones, swap them with the ones I want, and then I can use them again right?

I started it yesterday. Are all the weapons you pick up supposed to have low durability and break after a handful of fights?
How do you reload the revolver without firing when your chambers are not all empty?

Wait nevermind that won't work either

Check the FAQ on /vg/, it's quite helpful.

>use ranged against a melee
>it runs to you at Jew-with-a-coupon speed
>oops gotta reload
Nah

L2 or R2 (depending on the hand you're holding it in) + X

You unlock a shop where you can craft and buy weapons with higher durability

If you want good weapons, find blueprints, take them back home and give them to hitler to see if you get weapon blueprints. Those have full durability.

Learn to use your fists for those robot bastards and wimpy screamers.

Hold X and press L2 or R2, this works for all guns.

Climb the fucking tower, Senpai.

Thing is I'm with the mindset that if I cant kill everything on that floor, then I'm not ready to handle the next one. So sneaking past would trigger my autism

>find Jin-die
What do I do with this fucking thing???

You reload by holding X then pressing R2 and you get better durability by crafting and buying weapons

Yes, your picking up garbage to fight with, once you start finding blueprints you'll get weapons with full durability and the ability to upgrade them,

Hold x then the trigger you used to fire it.

>Floors are only 3 different layouts
>Braindead AI
>Combat comes down to who stunlocks who first
>Korean treadmill grind bullshit for upgrading weapons, armor, basically anything
>Glitches galore including a "premium" elevator that causes deaths

people only play this because it's free, if this was a full priced game it would be laughed out of the building. suda and grasshopper haven't been good for years. good thing they have plenty of weeb apologists to cover for them.

Nice blog

Why is Team Oregon full of cucks who don't raid?

Yes. You'll find blueprints for weapons and armour which you can give to Hitler in the Waiting Room to make more durable/higher damaging versions. Ending fights with any particular weapon will upgrade your mastery with it which means more damage/attacks, so it's a good idea to land kills with your fists when you can so if you're ever caught without a weapon you've still got a shot.

>Suda
>weeb

4/10 got me to reply

nice shit game you probably spend money on, sudacuck.

>mfw I was holding L2 and pressing X instead

Here's your (you)

How much money have you sunk into the game that motivates you to defend it, senpai?

Run up to it and hit it. If you hug its body it won't attack.

Johnny? Is that you?

Why is there so much viral for this shitpot game

To spite you

>PCuck mad he can only play cuckwatch and other mobas

lul

>You just need to get to [this part] of [shitty game] and then it gets good and interesting, believe me!

When will this meme end?

...

Killed the lvl 16 boss so started levelling a new rank 3 fighter. Also found Nailgun and Knight leg blueprints.

Today was a good day, Senpai!

I'll respond so someone else doesn't have too

...

I don't think it's viralling. Look at what happen with Nioh during the alpha/beta, there was basically a running Sup Forums general. The common factor is those and this are free, and everyone's far more willing to give something a try when it's a free, so compared to most games there are far more people playing and as such far more people talking about it.

What hot new shilled game is this and when will you eventually be confined to /vg/ to make your pennies?

Why are you responding seriously to blatant shitposting?

It's the new Suda game, Permit it to Perish

I thought it was Allow it to go belly up.

Pretty sure it's Authorize it to Expire

Been moving along pretty slowly.
Farthest I've gotten is floor 17.

Also should I use my green military metal to make a Glinty Magnum E or use it for Assault Rifle +3.
I like both weapons too much to decide.

Is the lock on in this game supposed to actually help the camera lock on to an enemy? I click R3 and I see the arrow on the enemy's head, but I still have to move the camera manually. Does anyone else have this problem?

You sure it's not authorize it to go the way of all flesh?

it's Make Sure it Kicks the Bucket

It locks your character onto an enemy, not the camera.

It locks your character, not the camera.

No, its Guarantee it to Give up the Ghost

Confused.
I've heard some talks of floor 12 and needing to take a roundabout path to get higher.
Time to climb AROUND the tower.

>Free
>Fun
>An actual video game, unlike the endless series of "Watch how cool the 6 hour movie is!" and indie shit that plagues the medium

Obviously underaged.

Come on guys, it's Clearance to Cease Existence.

hilarious stuff senpais, see you back on the subreddit

>implying it's not license to pass away

How about you head on back there first?

still holding out hope someone will make a .gif of the title animation

specifically the retro part

Bro, it's Sanctioned to Stop Living.
