ITT: Underrated games

ITT: Underrated games

I'll start with this fucking gem

>fun combat with many weapon types
>fun crafting system
>Innocent Devil system is fucking great
>all weapons are viable
>special weapons have different attacks
>over 30 companions
>amazing OST
>fun theft mechanic, in which every enemy has a unique item to be stolen in a different way

I honestly cannot think anything bad about this game

Never played it, who's on the front cover ?

Hector, a pretty Alucard looking fella, If I might say so.

And since the game is essentialy SOTN in 3D, it kinda makes sense.

Aw, shit, I hoped that there was another Castlevania I didn't know about that featured Alucard as a playable character. :(
Might still test this one, though, I've heard a lot of people around me enjoying it

If you liked the Alucard games, you will have tons of fun with this one user.
Give it a shot.

Fine, feast your eyes on this.

Thanks a lot, mate, will do as soon as I can!

RAVE MOUNTAINS

I fucking love this song in particular

I used to sing it like an autist when I was a child

Harmony of Dissonance is also massively underrated.

Sure I know the droprates are dogshit, but it was the most fun I've ever had with co-op in a game, and I've got a total of 15,000+ hours in Monster Hunter titles.

I like it better than Silent Hill 3 desu

The levels were repetitive straight corridors lol
SOTN my ass

...

Gobbos

Harmony of Despair you mean. I agree about how much fun it is. It needs to get either ported to steam or get a sequel.

Folklore was fucking weird

If any of you niggas ever played this game then you'll know of it's greatness.

>amazing single player mode
>amazing visuals
>amazing mechs
>amazing multiplayer mode
>amazing missions

I would slaughter millions for a Steam port.

Imagine if the game had a lobby browser system as well.

Maybe even game mutators like a mode where you can pass a skeleton debuff to another player by hitting them with a bone.

spent hundreds of hours into this game when I was a kid, the soundtrack is awesome

...

Weaponfu claimed

That fucking feather trail effect was beautiful

This game was pretty much shit vanilla but the IZJS literally fixes every problem with the game.

A boss rush mode would be cool too.

I still do sometimes.

Oh man Boss Rush mode where each boss still gives you loot would be the best.

An Expert mode where one hit = death but you are guaranteed to get an item you don't have yet would also be great.

Too bad it's a Konami game.

That's whats up

>weaponfu
>not a fist weapon
gay boi

My favorite non Belmont protag...Crispin Freeman is just too good
also he can kill red skeleton for once

HOLY SHIT, I REMEMBER HAVING THIS IN MY CHILDHOOD
THANK YOU OP

Force Glove was bretty gud

It was in mine too, needless to say, it was one of My favorite games.

i never finished the game. thanks for reminding me, can't wait for the remaster.
>catchy boss music
>fun battle system
>fran's ass
pretty goat

...

I really loved the whole marks mechanic.

Honestly this. People try to shit on it for Castlevania 64 or not being SoTN.

>tfw Hector is your favorite castlevania protag but he'll never be in any of the crossover stuff or brought up again because his game was poorly recieved.

I like the game, but I get very frustrated attempting to perfect block and steal from some enemies.
I also dislike how inverting the X-axis camera control did nothing.
Also I would have preferred if I could zoom in and out a little.
OST wasn't amazing, but it's good. (opinions)
Crafting wasn't fun for me, but it wasn't painful. I found it addicting to look for items and craft crazy shit to see more items. Maybe that's what constitutes fun, but I found it satisfying more than anything.
