Undertale and 19 other indie titles will launch with The Switch as digital only downloads

>Undertale and 19 other indie titles will launch with The Switch as digital only downloads
>The Switch will have GM tools to port any game made in GM into the Switch's library once they pass a quality control test.
>Nintendo will make incentives for devs to port GM games to the Switch to quickly Bloat the Switch's library.
>I only know of one other Indie, including mine, that is made with GM since we three "teams" met with a Nintendo and Yo-Yo to discuss how our GM licensing and tools will work, and we were given dates to work with a dev kit to bug test our games.(we have a week and have to work at a Nintendo office.)

Source: I am on a team of one of the other 19 indie titles that will debut at launch. Our game is made with GM, that's how I know about the tools and the emphasis on Undertale.

Maybe it will ship with hard mode

I kind of assumed that's why Nintendo got in contact with Toby Fox back when everyone threw a fit about it.

will you care (or dare) to say what game you are making?

...

Good money's on OP copping out with excuses about NDA or not wanting to lose his job.

Good money's on OP being a lying faggot

The two teams that aren't Toby are teams of 10 and 7,
I don't want to be outed that we leaked, so I won't say what games but we 3 were Kickstarter-ed and had some success.

Our games are popular, Undertale being the most popular... Does that kinda help?

Toby asked if he could change some textures to reflect Switch buttons and asked how much he was allowed to add. They said don't change the core game and don't add anything that changes the core game.

That applied to all of us.

It's what you get,
I thought a few of you would believe me, some wouldn't, but it would be fun to do a little leak since I never was in a position to do it on Sup Forums before. I'll be vindicated soon enough.

We don't have a NDA yet, Toby might bring it up, I just don't know if Nintendo would be cool with us just saying shit.

Please, feel free to screencap this to prove yourself right to me later.

How would a console port of Undertale even work on a console? With things like shutting the game off, changing the title in the task bar, or accessing hidden content by messing with your save file? It'd have to be an entirely different version of the game.

this isn't me. We've signed an NDA.

And then suddenly I have a trip

I know you are pissed since he can't prove it to you, but you seriously don't get the point of "leaking" something, don't you? Like, you can't just ask someone to prove the leak. Leaks are either probable or less probable, in any case, not leaks could ever happen in your world, cause all of the people should just post their predictions post-fact, which would hardly ever make sense, since it's hard to prove somebody knew something before the event after the event occurs.

shutting the game off could be possible. It simply returms to the home menu if possible to code. The game can be played fillscreen on pc and the hidden stuff is the hidden value working as intended.

>The Switch will have GM tools to port any game made in GM into the Switch's library once they pass a quality control test
This is actually a really good idea to not only get more games on the Switch, but to capitalize on the nostalgia push Nintendo has been on lately.

Our uses custom resolutions and we were told how to code for the console screen or what the size of the screen is.

It's part of the shit we have a week to figure out with a dev kit.

Sorry, weren't told those things.

We were just told that if the game packs through the tools it would run, what ever that means.

So your game is in GameMaker, was kickstarted successfully, but not quite as popular as Undertale. Hyper Light Drifter?

They have 10 people on their team last I checked...

But I'm not sure, it might not be...
