Which one looks better?
Modded Meme Souls vs Kinoborne
Stutterborne is shit.
Dark Souls 3 at 4K.
Why do newer games have that washed out look to them? I've seen it in many other games recently.
dsfix dark souls still looks better than ds2
ds3 had fancy skyboxes so shills will disagree, but ds1 overall had so many incredibly ornate textures
>Chromatic Aberration
DaS wins by a mile.
>polishing that piece of shit and adding diamonds to it
every fucking time.
Dark Souls 3 is good though.
except dark souls 3 is good
dark souls was a large fabulous geode
plenty of contour and detail and contrasting colors
ds3 was like a polished gem. smoothed out and optimized the mechanics and gameplay, but essentially sanded down everything that truly made it a dark souls game
>can't play as an ayy lmao
bb >>>>>>> ds
Bloodborne looks like shit because of chromatic aberration. Dark Souls 3 is the best looking Souls by far whether you want to admit it or not.
Modded memesouls runs at 60fps so it will always look better.
>chromatic aberration
is this a new meme
Bloodborne bothers me because it makes me feel like my vision is fucking up, and it takes a while after playing for my eyes to adjust to being able to see things without them being out of focus.
No, you're just a tard. Chromatic Aberration is objectively garbage.
>lol lets simulate flaws in cameras that don't exist anymore because it makes things look like movies from the 80's!
Just out of curiosity, what mods are running on that das1 shot?
Which are you referring to?dark souls is older than bb, plus it's modded
Looks like it's just Dsfix and the resolution is just downsampled.
I thought all dsfix did was allow you to set custom resolution. Is that truly all I'm seeing? It looks incredibly sharp. Almost like he's running some texture filtering or something
downsampling
...
Yeah, Dsfix allows you to up the internal resolution to 4k and then display it at your preferred resolution.
>kino
Sup Forums crossboarders should be beheaded
>set custom resolution
but that's exactly what it's doing
To be fair, it's a PS4 exclusive, they're just used to them all being movies.
DSFix lets you downsample and has texture filtering, but it also lets you use custom textures, which are available on the mod nexus.
>Which one looks better?
>this actually looks better
>well, it's shit anyway
Pottery
not really, it's actually kind of smart since there's no real color in the game.
the question stands though, was it an artistic choice, or oversight?
Is it weird that as a Sonygger with a rockin' pc I still haven't played any of the DaS games on PC despite picking them up in sales? I just hate the idea of playing those games with a 360 pad. Steam needs to release them PS4 drivers they was takin' about and someone else needs to mod DaS to have DS4 button prompts in the UI. The bright colors and kid-friendly roundness to the 360 buttons is just so faggoty.
Chromatic Aberration is always a choice, it doesn't come preloaded into game engines.
It doesn't add colour it adds distortion, there are plenty of scenes with actual colour in Bloodborne.
No, most Sonyggers are tards. You're not unique in that regard.
>I just hate the idea of playing those games with a 360 pad
>The bright colors and kid-friendly roundness to the 360 buttons is just so faggoty.
Is this the ultimate retard?
Moron showing game designed for 11 year old hardware vs one designed for 4 year old hardware
aka shitposting/baiting
But you can use the DS4 on Steam already
I'd have to see a more atmospheric scene from Dark Souls, or a less atmospheric scene from Bloodborne.
No glorious 4k version though.
You do know you can use a PS4 controller with a PC, right?
If you're that fucking lazy that you can't even figure it out, then you should probably stick to consoles.
It looks pretty great, but Bloodborne's still taking it.
