I like it, less retarded scoring system and by far the most balanced entry in the series. CO pool is small though.

The 3DS is pretty much over, its successor comes out in like four months.

The last chance will be in 2017. The last thing i heard was that after Codename STEAM bombed, the same staff starts a new project for 3DS, that was in 2015...also mostly of the people working in that game works in previous Advance Wars tittles.

It's a good game. Definitely worth playing.

I like it.
Sure the writing was a big change of pace from the others in the series but I think they did a pretty good job with it and it was a good way to keep the series from becoming stale. Of course the series did die out after DoR but the series becoming too samey wasn't the cause.
I also like the tweaks they made to the gameplay. The COs are nicely balanced and the new units and level system add some interesting things to the strategy.

Fire Emblem is so fucking gay, I just don't get how anyone likes it.

If they do, actually buy it. A niche game like it can't survive when its core fanbase seem to have absolutely no problem pirating it.

They had some three years to get something out for the 3DS before it was blown open. The Switch might be cracked even later than the WiiU was due to the same lack of games/interest.
Besides, AW only has such a high piracy rate because there hasn't been anything to buy in a decade. Obviously someone's going to pirate everything if they're just getting into the series now. Buying used/VC roms doesn't support anyone relevant.
