Oh no.
TTC is going to break this poor man.

i don't get it
What the fuck am I watching?
WOHOO WOHOO HAAAA YA YA YAHOO YAYAYAYAYA
BUT FIRST, LETS DISCUSS PARALLEL UNIVERSES
People just take this shit way too seriously.
Is Mario 64 a religion?
Only two a-presses were used. He needed to carry the purple dude to a spot to set the holp.
When will he do a new commented video?
This game looks so shitty. Aged like milk in every single way.
Wait. How can you get more than one star in one try? The game always exits the level you're in when you get one.
I think it still plays very well
>t autistic crpg nerd with no childhood.
100 coin stars let you stay in the level
not when you get the 100 coin star
The star that you get from collecting 100 coins let's you continue.
He only did commentary for the PU video because people just didn't get it, so he wanted to make it clear
t. TJ """Henry""" Yoshi
He also made one for Stomp on Thwomp too.
This poor fucking guy is gonna end up committed because of his obsession with this game
Godspeed, dude
>All this shit
>2 A press
He just does it as a hobby, he looks at figuring these things out as if they're little math puzzles
Huh, I didn't remember that. Thanks.
*bing bing*
But first...
*WAHOOOOO*
Let's talk about...
*1 up*
Parallel universes
*universe turns causing mario game to fly out the window*
>When will he do a new commented video?
Likely not for this one. It pretty much only uses concepts that he's explained before such as HOLP manipulation and cloning.
Commentated videos require a lot of effort because he has high standards for them so he doesn't put them out on a regular basis.
Shouldn't bouncing out of the constant diving be considered A presses or jumps or whatever this autistic is trying to accomplish??
>Shouldn't bouncing out of the constant diving be considered A presses
No, because you don't need to press A to do them.
>tfw you've watched enough of this guy's videos to actually understand what's going on
What do you call followers of the Mario 64 religion?
An A press is still an A press.
Nintendo fanboys.
Pannenites
slow down there, spoderman
Autism in its raw form.
Scuttelians.
I think the levels leave a bit to be desired and the camera isn't the greatest, but I still think Mario controls the best in this game. Especially compared to the 8 way run horseshit in 3D world.
I really would like a gaming journalist to not be completely bland and actually try to show Scutlle Bug Video to Myamoto and ask what he think of it. Or maybe even find the actual Code Monkeys behind Mario 64 and show them that.
>gaming journalist
>Myamoto
I don't think you understand what game journalism is. It's glorified advertising
A reasonable user. I hate how people flip a shit and say the camera in SM64 is flawless, that and the level design does consist of a lot of floating shapes. Not that that's terrible, but it isn't interesting.
>youtube.com
>watch this for the first time ever
>tfw overwhelmed
>sound of cpu fans intensify from overheating
It's just one guy, and he has autism
>pannenkoek2012
Is he Belgian?
>80 minutes of coin cloning
People will still defend this
Dutch, what else could he be?
Flemmish belgian?
...
>Belgian Dutch
Fixed.
You know that flemmish and Dutch tend to not always get along, right?
It is my hope that if society collapses this image is the only thing left behind for future generations
What the fuck?
I still like it because its just platforming without a lot of thematic bullshit to justify it. I would rather play SM64 in a 3D world style level pack than 3d world
can someone post the crying wojack henry?
who was in the wrong here?
if you don't stop this nonsense i'm going to turn this plane around WITH NO SURVIVORS
That steel is denser so because of gravity it is technically heavier
but they are both a kilogramm
3D World was not locked to 8 directions, though.
Yes he's a an autist to the extreme degree, but he does really cool shit in probably my favorite game of all time so I'm always down to see what weird, autistic thing he's done now.
3D world is great, though.
it takes way too long to pick up since the first 6 worlds are more or less tutorials
I would rather have half the levels with 64 gameplay than nsmbu controls pasted over it
>than nsmbu controls pasted over it
We are not talking about nsmbu, but 3D world.
The question however is not whether steel is heavier than feathers (or vice-versa) but actually which is heavier, a kilogram of steel or a kilogram of feathers.
I know
the game still only uses 3 buttons so every retard can join the multiplayer fun with a wiimote
How do you even manage to find this shit. This guy needs to STOP.
To be able to make game control with a minimal of button input is actually a sign of good gameplay design.
I would argue wasting more than half of your controller for nothing is a sign of bad design choices
You are actually agreeing with me, there. Less is better. They optimized the control so that it would only require a minimal amount of buttons to do everything. They aren't wasting anything there.
no they dumbed the game down to fit on a wiimote thats not the same
why would I need a sprint button when they pioneered the control stick 3 generations ago to allow better movement
picking up, sprinting, throwing fireballs and in rosalinas case spinning are all on the same button
why do I have this clunky piece of plastic if it goes completely unutilized
>no they dumbed the game down to fit on a wiimote thats not the same
Wrong.
The cotnrol are fucking perfect. Nothing is dumbed down.
>picking up, sprinting, throwing fireballs and in rosalinas case spinning are all on the same button
And the amazing thing, is it work perfectly. hence why it is actually great design. it's to be praised.
>why do I have this clunky piece of plastic if it goes completely unutilized
did you buy your Wii U for just one game? Are all games on a console under the obligation to use all of the buttons of the controller?
I'm not saying it doesn't work, I'm questioning the decision to use that control setup instead of making the most of it.
Past mario games were designed around the controller and suddendly comes this game that goes full other m and ditches half the controller
I just wanted to see whats possible man
>I'm not saying it doesn't work, I'm questioning the decision to use that control setup instead of making the most of it.
Because less button input to make the same thing result in better more natural control.
>80 minutes of coin cloning later
>it takes way too long to pick up since the first 6 worlds are more or less tutorials
I have no idea what are you talking about. Only World 1 has some tutorial levels.
>than nsmbu controls pasted over it
How the hell it has "NSMBU controls", when the movement is 3D and Mario has more moves? Do you have any idea what are you talking about?
>the game still only uses 3 buttons
And 64 also has only 3 different buttons too: jump, punch and squat.
He has a 15 page FAQ about what is the criteria about posting on his main and secondary channels.
>A Press #2
FUCKING FRAUD
Fucking hell this guy is so autistic
so whats the point of all of this if he used two A presses?
he is stuck i with one a press to complete 0 a press any % run so he is fooling around with the all stars run in as few a presses as possible. and it seems like this one location requires multiple a presses. stop acting like a retard because you want to fit here
>stop acting like a retard because you want to fit here
???
i just know this guy tries to do a no A press run from you memeing fucks and the webm clearly stated he did 2 of them no need to get so offensive user.
also one A press is the only thing separates him from a complete run?
this is really fucking impressive.
>15 pages
Because many stars are impossible to get without A presses as far as we know.
So he tries to get those stars with the least A presses possibles. Still pretty impressive.
no matter what you post on this board you're going to get at least one aspy throwing a fit at you, just ignore it
I thought he still had thirty-something complete A presses, no idea how many half ones
That's for 120 star, for any% it's just 1 a press left
>half ones
Kys
Isn't it three counting the one needed to enter TTC?
I really like his videos. It still amazes me how much he knows this game inside and out. No one else can do what he does to the extent that he does it. His video about exiting Tick-Tock Clock off-center so he doesn't have to jump up to it was really clever.
>mfw people make fun of him for wasting his time
>while posting on youtube or forums like this
>mfw people make fun of him for wasting his time
>while posting on youtube or forums like this
This. People should all realize that nothing has objectively value, so you might as well be posting in a fuckfest forum, studying mechanics from a 1996 game, working at CERN and discovering a new meme-non-pseudo-quark-particle-wave-bullshit or saving 50 billion lives including those from other universes.
Why would he be experimenting with TTC then, as you need an A press to get there, same with Rainbow Ride
wha
Isn't a half-press just a press?
>not showing the re-enter without an A-press
Normie confirmed, I bet you don't even know what a half A-press is.
Fuck off TJ "Henry" Yoshi, I know it's you
"Pressing" a button assumes a release mechanism. You can press and hold a button, then release it. A "half A press" is just a press without release. It's like holding down the Shift key while typing.
Weight is mass times gravity so they weigh the same still
