Final Fantasy is one of the few franchises that's maintained some level of quality through the years.
The only truly bad mainline FF game I can think of is maybe 13 but I even enjoyed that one honestly. 13-2 is one of my favorite RPGs of all time and even Lightning Returns was ugly as fuck but it was a fun game.
