Vanilla had a lot of content, but it was good content that people kept skipping to get to the new zones. Every latest dungeon and raid keeps getting more and more unavailable to raid in as the level cap goes up. For me, it's going to be the first time going through the molten core, because I only reached the level cap in Wrath, when people were done with all the old content. But that's just me.

Supposedly nost 'did things better'//'bug free' but I used to play a BC pserver around the time wotlk came out that was bug free besides 2 things:

hunter's arcane shot&viper arrow(poisoning one) gained a shit load of damage from intelligence, causing mage archer to be a thing(eventually bannable due to how fucking broken it was til they fixed it)

Essence of sorrow would deal ~20k damage to everything within the black temple. Instantly killing the party+pulling every god damn mob in the raid.
