Mom used to play Tetris on the NES and Mortal Kombat 2 on the SNES. She actually bought a Tips and Tricks magazine to learn how to do the fatalities.

My mom occasionally watches me play moe blob weeb games. She likes the art style of overly cutesy anime superficially. Like she's watched Yuri Yuri with me a few times but she still hasn't bothered to know any of the characters names. She just refers to them as the cute pink haired one and such.

My grandfather helped program the first atm and was on the computer most of her life even when not working so she vehemently hates any sort of computer especially video games.
She even gets pissed off at her digital dash on her new car. She shit on me about my videogames my entire childhood and refused to buy them for me so I had to work for them myself.

My dad played mortal kombat with me and tried to play pokemon once when I was asleep but quit because he couldnt see good enough to get out of the house on the old gameboy.
he killed my uncle who came in drunk all the time threatening to butcher me my sister and my mother and was in jail for close to 6 years before getting off on self defense
he came out a broken man and my mom wouldnt let me see him when it was her fault for letting her fucking psycho brother into our house
she also killed my turtles when I was out of town in highschool so she could sell my tank and equipment for booze money she has highhandedly caused enough strife in my life to the point where I still dream of choking the life out of her on a monthly basis
