Should I get a PS4 Pro? I don't feel like investing on a super computer is worth the price, especially since give or take a year and it will already be a toaster. The PS4 Pro sounds like a solid investment for those who aren't in the big Sony family yet, that can easily carry you for the rest of the gaming generation.
Plus, you don't need to worry about errors, bad ports, fixing the graphics, and stuff like that, just put your disc in and you are ready to play.

I update my pc ever 3-4 years and it takes me 2 hours to research and 10 minutes to install new parts

it takes about 10 hours to build a pc for a completely uneducated dude and about 2 hours to build it from scratch

I considered it. Really took my time straining and considering this. I mean, who wouldn't want to buy a gaming system that lasts for all of one single generation and can't do a damn thing but play games specifically made for that one single system? Especially at that sweet price point. A small investment of $400 and you can play a specific, tiny selection of killer titles from one single generation! And it can watch movies too!

After much consideration though, I decided to stay on PC which is, in every sense, infinite in its capabilities for an investment of $700 total.

There's nothing really wrong with it, but there's nothing great about it either. There's a huge marketing push for 4k right now from TV manufacturers, so Sony designed a new console around that despite the fact that it just isn't really viable yet. So now you can pay more for a console that can soooorta run games at 4k if you sacrifice framerate or effects, just because they wanted to say it can do 4k.

How can anyone still buy consoles? I mean it took ps3 a few years to start getting good, it's a few years into ps4s life and still has no games except BB and now instead of pumping out good games we get the pro which is proving to be shit. That hasn't been true in a very long time. There was a PS4 version of Tetris that slowed down to a crawl, plus consoles these days have all those system updates and patches to worry about.

DeS didn't have frame pacing issues so no. Its FPS was also stable 30 in most areas unlike BB. Other Souls games tank in certain areas though, BB only had certain rooms like that.

The frame pacing is abhorrent though, I consider it the worst running game aside from DaS3 on PC at least, though that didn't run bad you just couldn't hold 60fps without a monster card. Did they ever fix that?

I'm having this struggle, i'm going to get a ps4 for the exclusives but i've played most already on my vita. So basically i'll get a final fantasy persona machine which i already have but only those two games didn't make it on the vita. i'll still get i though i think for future releases that might not be on the vita.

The advent of day 1 patches on consoles mean that working games no longer need to be shipped as it's expecting that they will be semi-fixed on release. This is by no means consoles' fault, but it puts them back in line with PC rather than plug and play like they used to be.
