good game compilations are dead which is a shame. They are pretty much the only reason I was able to play the classic as a poor kid.
Instead of packing up a decent chunk of great games with some cool extras you can just throw up a half ass emulation and charge $8 a piece. If it's a ps2 era game just throw together a pack that either doesn't fucking run right or have all the games in the series.
