It's entirely determined by the weapon.

If you're using a melee weapon it's using melee atk/acc no mater what the animation looks like.

The ground combat and exploration in this game was amazing. Then you get a Skell and the entire game switches to easy mode. I wish there was a New Game+ option. Also the story was shit.

How much time did all you anons put into the game when all was said and done? I have 192 hours right now with around 70% survey rate.

For him, you can't inflict purple debuffs (topple, stun, sleep etc) during the period, and perhaps reduced damage onto him iirc

Am I crippling myself if I don't make Ares 90, and instead make the lvl 60 versions of the standard frames? I just think Ares looks dumb.

Maybe at the very start. Ares 90 is like a baseline for the end game.

But once you get real super weapons no, you'll be much better off getting the 60s of the normal dolls.

You can buy a level 30 Skell and beat everything before postgame with a G Buster. Ground is more broken with actual builds that take time and stacking potential, but that takes longer than it takes to get 300k by level 30.

Reduce the number of items needed to farm for augs. I quit post game because it was just a boring farm for augments so I could fight superbosses and make superweapons, but I gave up because oneshotting Tyrants with Ares again and again and again, is not fun.

The online mode is garbage.

If an art says "does so and so in a melee combo", it means that if you used any other art linked to your melee weapon (including auras, buffs, debuffs) right BEFORE using it (you have a window of a few seconds after using an art for it to still register as a combo, you'll get used to it with practice), you'll get the bonus effect.

For example: Starfall Rondo does more damage in a melee combo, so going Geolibrium (an aura linked to the Photon Saber) -> Starfall Rondo gives boosted damage
