What are the differences between these two games?

What are the differences between these two games?

the name of the dudes and the skills they use

Names of shit

Dota 2 has:
-Courier
-Teleport maps
-Roshan
-Customizable: HUD, character parts, announcers, loading screens, music
-RNG

LoL has:
-More heroes
-Special abilities (Flash, teleport, etc)
-Baron
-Skins for characters
-Free taunts (You have to pay for them in Dota2)

One is for casuals who think they're hardcore over playing the least shitty ASSFAGGOTS
The another one is for casuals who embrace their shittery

not much

Also every hero in Dota2 is free.
You have to pay for them in LoL (Although there is a weekly rotation of 5-10 heroes)

LoL - Overly streamlined, sterile, and built around one forced playstyle, but fast and snappy and responsive and mechanically satisfying. Character progression is largely numerical. Pay or grind to unlock characters.

Dota - Exponentially more diverse and freeform and has a ton more strategy and depth, but mechanically doesn't feel as responsive. Is more of a strategy game than an action game. Character progression is largely utility and chunk upgrade-based. All characters are free.

tl;dr: Dota is objectively the better game but there are reasons people would enjoy either

one is starting to become like the other
which is it?

Nothing worth mentioning.

Objectively
LoL-Casual
DOTA-Least Casual
SMITE-Pleab
HotS-Niche
Battleborn-Tard

Dota has more strategic elements and options. League has anime waifus, fun skins and account based upgrades that increase ingame numbers the higher your level.

back to the gulag with you

or he could be a LoL player referencing how they finally got replays and they're getting sandbox after so many years

You know I see a lot of people that complain dota is too casual but I feel it's more involved than most games, largely because its not just you and your opponent, but you and 9 other people and all THEIR shit you have to keep track of and so many more strategies to keep track of, compared to say WC3 or SC where you oy have 3 or 4 comps and of those there are maybe 5-10 setups between them. Supcom/TA are the only rts own games I'd put ahead of it and they are monsters with the options of what you can do.

>league can actually cast 20 spells before oom
>dota can only poke and cast 2 spells before oom

>90% of "spells" on lol are pokes
now what shithead

Not really

>such a simple Dota item would break LoL

only one features the hard carries Abaddon and Lich and the hard support Chaos Knight

League was designed by taking DotA and removing all the things that make shitters upset (ie the fun parts).

LoL
>pay not to grind
>less skill and more "fun"
>cancer community filled with mentally handicapped children that have escaped their tard wranglers
Dota
>get all champs for free
>more autistic and less fun of the two games
>more skill based
>counterpicks will ruin your day (in league you can still buy items or act a certain way that will make you come out pretty much even with your opponent but Dota, if someone counterpicks you they are shitting all over you and you can't do anything about it)

IDK about Riot but Valves a shit fucking company when it comes to developing a competitive and interesting esport

they don't give a fuck about balance, pro players, the game itself. They' put greed before quality. They let Reddit balance the game because they don't actually know what the fuck they're doing.

t. former 10 years and 3k+ hours Dota player

t. 3k mmr dotap layer

4K SEA > 5K EU > 6K NA

Dota 2 >>> Heroes of the fucking Storm >>>>>> LoL

LOL

except that 7.00 turn Dota 2 into LoL

Hardly.

i'm enjoying the new dota patch
except for the usual make hero op right out the gate so idiots buy the arcana

Have you ever played league of legends in your whole life? judging by your statement, that doesn't seem likely
