I know this game is going to be "bad" but I wouldn't expect anything less

I am bummed it didn't hit all the stretch goals and if in a year or two after the release of the game they'd do another KS to fulfill the stretch goals that have been missed, I'd pay for it.

It looks like a bad ENB preset. It's not like good graphics is a staple of Shenmue series, but the low budget shows here the most. And if it's low budget then it's low quality, most of the time at least. I really doubt that Suzuki who didn't really do anything related to gaming in more than a decade will be able to unflop this alone

Shenmue is hardly the best looking Dreamcast game. I think people often mistake scale with graphical fidelity

I've been telling people for ages that this won't get finished and even if it does it will be nowhere near the standard of 1 and 2. We've seen no gameplay so far and every screenshot looks like generic unreal engine trash. It looks like something you'd see on moddb, and nothing on moddb ever gets finished

Shenmue 1 had the best graphics on the Dreamcast.
Shenmue 2 had worse graphics and performance but bigger cities.

Sadly it's the closest were going to get.

Since it's made by Suzuki at least we will get a nice soundtrack and hopefully all the good elements from older games.
Sadly like you said the series won't evolve just like it was first created on saturn and remade for Dreamcast.
