Someone has been talking about trying to get coop partners in r9k /steamfeels/ threads.

Question, is the game shit? Do people not play the game?

It's L4D but instead of America you're in W4K land and instead of zombies you're killing rat people. I've heard good things.

It's good, just a lack of people of playing.

enemy variety is shit, incredibly slow loot drop system meaning new weapons and therefore new types of game-play are hard to come by.

It's currently on the humble bundle so I was thinking of getting it.

That it just plays well for a W4K licensed version of L4D. There were plenty of threads on Sup Forums back when it was released asking for people to play with.

I bought the game about a year ago and had a lot of fun with it.
Plenty of players in the EU and has only been improving with each patch and promotion, I imagine this humble monthly will get even more in (though the price is about what the game cost on cdkey sites for months now)

I wouldn't mind a coop group, I haven't played much since quests and contracts became a thing, but have all the dlc

Absolutely, it may lack very long term replayability, but at $12 its a fantastic melee-L4D.

I bought it on release and played with friends for a good while. I haven't played recently, but I've heard they've done some work to address some issues, namely that the game was a grindfest with multiple layers of RNG in terms of getting better loot to grind harder difficulties to get better loot ad infinitum. It's fun, but expect to put a lot of time into getting the equipment you want, and cataclysmic is pretty painful especially with randoms.

Great value for money. They've improved the game significantly from the rocky release

The real question is why would you want to play with /r9k/

You can play all the dlc maps if you join them, you need to buy them only to be able to host.

Do you still get items for classes you don't play? That was probably my one big issue with the game.

Theres a trinket for every class now, if you use that trinket, you get loot for that class (even if youare playing another).

That is pretty cool, might give it another good shot.

Got together with 3 friends and played through everything up to Nightmare. The Game is amazing. Never once played it with pubbies though.

Used to be a board where you couldn't post the same thing twice to force more OC. Obviously it failed miserably and nowadays it's just a pit full of socially retarded neckbeards wallowing in self-pity. If you think Sup Forumsirgins are pathetic don't ever go there or you will finally lose the last smidge of faith in humanity you had.
