Sniper is the endgame class for anyone with good enough aim. Once your aim is good enough, sniper is the only class worth playing. You either become good enough to be a decent sniper, or you die a scrub.

This is the most objective and true statement you'll ever see about snipers in multiplayer games.

It's not a question of getting good,

Snipers are worthless.

They never hit anyone and sit on the edge of the map, so dodging them is easy.

The problem is when I'm playing Rush as an attacker, and three quarters of my team wants to sit in the spawn and snipe as a worthless scout.

Snipers do nothing for the team.

They don't cap points.

They don't arm objectives.

They do nothing but take up space.

Name one reason why everything except bolt-action rifles and shotguns shouldn't be banned from this game.

Stop playing with shitters and join servers with actually competent players. I regularly get top captures as sniper and provide spot flares on cap points. Aggresive sniper is a thing you know.

The medic does it much, much better than you ever could, and also revives teammates.

I don't mean to brag but I play almost exclusively front line scout and sniper-medic and all I do is literally PTFO and counter snipe.

It's super fucking fun, a great test of skill, and a thankless job.

You probably notice all the shitters with their scope glint on the outskirts of the map, but I guarantee you there are just as many scouts putting in work on the front lines.

What pisses me off is people auto-releasing after they die. There needs to be at least a 4 second delay before you're allowed to release from your dead body.

That's a really good idea actually, apart from the clueless assholes who only play medic for the guns and not the actual rezzing component.

Why do that when youand 4 mates can just get in a tank and win Rush no problem? Tanks are literally over powered in this game and it's becoming too easy to literally plow through the competition
