They're former GameTrailers employees.
Their journalism is now more videoblog and podcast oriented, basically voicing their opinions on the actual news.
Besides reviews and 2-3 previews, they're primarily streamers.

The thing that makes them worth watching is their actual passion and interest in the games they talk about, unlike the impression I get from watching discussions from IGN employees or similar sites.

They stream a lot too.
The best way to get introduced to them is watching their most recent podcasts.
Beware of Huber, he's cool but he can come off really obnoxious if you haven't been introduced to him from podcasts or other things first.

Ian is a dumb SJW and is not indicative of the quality of EZA as a whole.
He's not a bad guy but I'm not attached to anything he says or makes.

Easy Allies are the polar opposite of that. They fucking love games, and are super passionate about it. Haven't seen this much positivity from video game e-celebs since Mark from Classic Game Room.

Even their resident SJW (Ian) is relatively cool and chill- and is balanced out by the overbearing gives no fucks normalfag (Huber), the resident Weeb (Ben, who is a confirmed lurker and sometimes poster on here and Sup Forums), and the two trolls (Bossman and Damiani- Damiani being a strange cynical Nintendofag apologist and Bossman just being one eccentric madman).

The boss of it all is Brandon Jones, who is just a legit and balanced dude. They are a pretty balanced bunch, and they contrast and compare against each other well, which is probably the secret to their success.

The issue with Damiani is that his opinions too often sounds like either a cynical shit poster or a nintendrone with no inbetween.

He just rambles. He needs to make his points faster.

I do not wish to have such non-discerning tastes, it works against you really, I played like more than 120 hours of bethesda games before realizing npcs are just quest dispensers with no connection to one another and no world-wide impact whatever you do, I kept thinking there was more to it because fallout 2 have such great quest structure and I thought obviously newer games would be a step ahead of that, not 3 steps back plus more shallowness in gameplay like pretty much all bethesda games are.

it used to be worse, he's trying his best and improving from what I can tell. the transition to EZA has seemed to help a lot

giant bomb guys are also super lenient, none of them are capable of really nailing all the problems with nu-doom for example, I'm almost positive none of my game journous ever mention how the spawning monsters and the 3 big demons at a time limit the nu-doom seems to have as a huge problem for level design which is the biggest blatant problem with it. No one seems competent enough to be able to really get into gameplay details nowadays besides maybe superbunnyhop
