Same shit happens for me sometimes because I'm lonely. I thought about starting a stream to hang out with chat people while playing.
Play a game that requires it, and feels like a cheaper experience without it.
Pretty much just play any fucking singleplayer only game ever made you twat, and get your youtube fix on mindless pvp games.

Highly doubt it. I also listen to comfy podcast with single player shit. I mean I still enjoy games to some degree, thats not the issue. The issue is that I tend to make every single thing i play feel the fucking same, devoid of atmosphere. Which really cheapens the experience and then I end up not having a lot of fun.
Play games youre actually interested in, its not a fucking job
You have ADHD. Play some games where sound cues are important, those games will incentivize you to focus on the game because you need to listen to them carefully.

Immersion is a buzzword for those who havent lost hope yet. You need engaging gameplay and souls like you. Play any online multiplyer shooter/strategy whatever fits your need. For me, I love throwing javelins through armored foes in chivalry.
