So WAR is the best because it's not required to tank. That's like saying AST is the best because it's not required to heal this tier.

LB gain is important to skip/finish phases, no matter how good WAR is not getting LB in time can end up badly.

None of the classes are required to tank. Being in tank stance outside of your opener is actually detrimental. Shield oath and Grit are merely defensive cooldowns.

Any time you do need a lot of mitigation, WAR also does it better than the other two.

WAR makes this much easier than PLD/DRK.

If a Paladin or Dark Knight isn't getting hit, they can't use shield swipe or reprisal. Reprisal is a really good move for mitigation. There is no such thing as Main Tank/Off tank anymore. It's all "which tank can benefit the party most being taking the hits at this point in time."

So is AST now better at solo healing than WHM? WHM can't have infinite mana so I bet that's a limiter.

Yes, AST has almost identical healing output to WHM, but has better MP sustain and cards. You have Bole, CU and Noct shields to make up for only one healer (and can use Balance when Bole isn't needed).

It's a meme strategy where they're probably using both NIN's enmity modifiers and Trick Attack. WAR debuffs don't stack, 2 NINs can have 20s of Trick Attack in a row.

Speed kill strats. It shows when they barely have enough LB bar for tank LB3. 5 seconds slower and they would've wiped.
