Is this gaming laptop good enough for Dota 2 on SteamOS?
Is this gaming laptop good enough for Dota 2 on SteamOS?
>no nuclear fusion reactor for maximum threads
Lmaoing at your life
>CUK
>$3,700 gaming laptop
heh
Alright, I'm just going to bite right into this bait.
>gaming laptop
>4K meme
>$4000
>my shitty 5 year old Macbook can run Dota2
Although shitty trolling and memeing aside; I am curious, does that ACTUALLY have a 4k screen, or is it just that it's capable of it? My money is on #2.
no get an alienware its the only thing that can run games at half decent graphics
>Paying over 1000 dollars for a laptop.
wait about 1 month for the 1080 TI instead.
>screen size: 17.3 inches
>screen resolution: 3840 X 2160
If the piece of shit in the OP were overclocked, there would be no different between it and a nuclear fusion reactor. I never tried a gaming laptop nor would I want to, but one with those specs would probably melt if it tried doing anything demanding.
Have any Anons bought these sort of overkill laptops? How long do they last? What's the battery life? 30 minutes? Are the chargers as hueg as the 360 one?
Hmm just barely on low settings maybe.
I'd recommend you go to Walmart and talk to one of the electronic salesman and choose their recommended product.
It's a retina screen at 13 in. That seems a bit close to your face for a laptop.
there are laptops around the $1k mark now that have 4k screens I think.
No idea about the quality of the screen, but getting a lot of pixels isn't rocket science.
>retina screen
Time to play, Applefag, Retarded, or BOTH!
Right, but in this particular case is what I'm questioning, I'm well aware there are 4K laptops, but I was wondering for this laptop since it's just kinda jammed in there with no context. Anyways my question was already answered
who actually plays on a laptop and uses the small ass laptop screen?
>dota
Go back
>SteamOS
>2tb space
>those specs
>only ever gonna play dota 2
you're wasting money
>I am curious, does that ACTUALLY have a 4k screen
Pretty sure it's a 4K display, Razer has a 4K option in the Stealth and that's a 12.5" screen, which is retarded.
>gaming
>laptop
>CUK
Are digital storm PCs reliable? One of my friends showed me their site.
You can swap out parts and they build it for you.
why would you even choose this over a pc? for half the price you can already build a high end rig.
>$4k for a gaymen laptop
Jesus christ, no.
