GF didn't try to push it like they did with Lucario. Either they felt like it would catch on by itself or they lost interest early on in development.

They tested the waters with the movie and special episodes in the anime. It just wasn't as appealing as Lucario to the Japanese crowd.

Nepgear was never left out of later entries (outside of some spinoffs) but considering all the jokes about being a shit protagonist she gets, i would say she fits.

Japan loves heroes, Zoroark looks like a villain and a shady character, even if I'm reality Zoroark is a nice Pokémon these kinds of characters are not so well-received in Japan. Lucario is brave, loyal, mysterious, determined and strong, Japan loves that shit.

Nah, Shadow is still popular in the fandom. Hell, he was one of the few side characters reintroduced in Sonic Boom and in the show (not saying much, but still). Silver, on the other hand, was in 1 game and generally gets ignored like the plague.

Male Draenei

Literally no one plays them, and the whole goldshire futa draenei dickgirl lore might as well be 100% canon. Just make them an all female race, and no one would care.

They fucked him in every way. Making him an event Pokemon that didn't have that event released in most parts of the world and then introducing team preview to fuck his gimmick.

I did at least, because it didn't break nearly as much as Sonic's or Shadows and was the most stable. Between dealing with sonic's unbalanced bullshit or silver's bad physics based gameplay, shadow was a godsend in comparison.

No the REAL biggest problem was that you couldn't use it unles you had an event celebi then transferred it or had shiny beasts. They hid their special waifu behind too many restrictions.

Shadow retained the character development he got in the last game. Without the angst, Shadow is just a serious that can figure out whats going on fairly easily.

Female Tauren were in the game from the beginning, and are memorable and loved. Some people hate Belves, some hate trolls, No one hates Tauren. plus most people who wanted a horde Druid played female

Also Tauren have sort of soft-furry appeal. and going back to Draenei the males just look plain shit, too bulky up top, the tendrils and tails are too in your face. Female draenei are basically just blue space-women with horns, remember how popular Asari from ME are.
