but I am mad the DLC isn't on sale. I bought the base game a month or so ago for 20 and just want the DLC without having spent a total of 40 dollars on the game when the bundle is 25 dollars right now.

EA did no marketing for it so nobody knew it came out. Even i only found out its about to release 2 weeks before it did.
There is nothing fundamentally wrong with the game, its the same as ME1, climbing puzzles, but now you get to run around the roofs of the city too instead of only small levels. They rewrote the story, or background i should say, to some stupid hollywood shit where faiths sister is now brainwashed with the bad guys instead of a normal street cop and some other dumb shit like that. The Overworld fetch quests arent really interesting but they dont hurt the game either. The skilltree is weird but obsolete since you get the most gadgets just from story missions.

you can only do that once. I did it with no mans sky and I tried again when I pre ordered Fractured but Whole (because I wanted SoT on ps4) and it got delayed with no new release date announced. they said each account gets 1 chance for a refund and even that they don't have to do because it's against the EULA

I've played it.

Its not bad, but it isn't at Mirrors Edge 1 level.

For one thing, they retconned Faiths background, and basically all the events of ME1, and then tried to sell some stupid comic with the backstory. Fuck that.

Secondly, you have to unlock moves and combat stuff throughout the game. I didn't find this a problem because I earned FAR more points than I ever needed.

Thirdly, it has Denuvo, but its cracked by now.

Fourthly, having the game be open roam was a bad idea. You will frequently cover the same ground going back and forth. The actual missions are pretty good.

Fifthly, combat is a bit of a chore. You can't use guns anymore because they are, and I quote "bio-metrically locked to their owners, Faith couldn't use them even if she wanted to". Also they give you a really stupid temporary damage shield which basically makes you invincible if you bunny hop or do any sort of move like wallrunning. The only good thing I can say about the combat is that the enemies with guns won't shoot at you if you are really close to another enemy, for fear of hitting their comrade.

Overall, I found it fun and finished it, but I wouldn't give it a second play through as it has no replayability, and I didn't try the online stuff like races. 6.5/10

by the time you have enough upgrade on the retarded skilltree the running is pretty good and same as the first one, jumping puzzles are fun too and this time they have weird futuristic puzzles too because, again, they rewrote all the background this game had into something shitty hollywood.
