Only if you have Fieldrunners, Legends of Exidia, Guitar Rock Tour or LoZ Four Swords. They've all been pulled from the eshop already so if you didn't already have one you're SOL.

This is also assuming you DID NOT UPDATE. If you already upgraded to 11.2 then you're fucked. The exploit is only for 11.0 and 11.1.

I'm all for hacking/homebrew/piracy. Pretty much all of my video game devices allow pirate copies one way or another.

I spent a week trying to hack my new 3ds xl, which is on firmware 10.0.33 IIRC, using oot3dhax with Powersaves, and I never could get it to actually finish. It kept freezing while the screen was changing colors no matter how many times I tried. What the fuck am I doing wrong?

It could be your custom firmware. I've had games that just didn't run on luma, but worked on cakes just fine.

its old, completely outdated and no longer supported. if it works for you thats cool, but if something happens that would fuck with rxtools, youd be in shit because it wont be fixed. also balancing sysnand/emunand was just a hassle with gba games and just the sys/emu in general. boot time arent 100% and the crashes were annoying. i made the switch from rx months ago and im glad i did

So because I'm on 11.1.0 and not 11.0.0, if I'm reading that right, I would have to use the "No Browser" entrypoint. But all of those require either games I don't have, or an additional 3DS that's already hacked.

no. the guide has setups for different 3ds regions. just need to properly read and make sure you select the right files for your region japan or you can fuck up ur 3ds big time.

Literally just cut and paste to your SD card if you have the theme manager app.

Make sure you have the boot.3dsx file on the sd card.
Or you could just try a different, easier method. I'm pretty they got menuhax working on 10.0 to 10.7

The way the page reads, you need a powersaves with oot AND one of those games you can't get anymore.

I already have Four Swords. And OOT3D. I guess $20 for a Powersaves for infinite games isn't a bad deal.

I gave up installing themes when it never would change the theme to what I had selected. And the themes I downloaded had shitty annoying bgm included.

Custom firmware locks you out of nothing and only adds features. There is no reason not to do it.

There is an option to install without the bgm. Not sure why it's not working for you when you select a theme.
