Do we know of any other monsters / zombies so far? And how big will the final game's areas be?

The Baker family will be something akin to a group of Mr.X's\Nemesi, and those things will be some stronger regular enemies. They've done some motion capture for zombies, so it's safe to assume they'll be in the game, but the marketing for RE7 has revealed shockingly little about the game. We don't really know what will be in the game, and it's something I enjoy.

I don't know. The plantation has 5 houses. A main house, which is the one from the trailers, a greenhouse, we've seen about 2 shots from it which Marguerite patrols. The other 3 houses are unknown.
We know there's more locations besides the plantation, but the plantation is the biggest.
We know that the 5 hour demo the press played is actually about 1-2 hours in Capcom's time estimate.
We know that there are more locations to visit besides the plantation, like a huge ship.
Is all of that in the demo?
I just played the demo, got the bad ending, is this acessible to me? Might play it again if it is.

Fuck. I like it. It feels "Resident Evil-ey" while still being new, and spookier than traditional resident evil monsters. Less body horror, more deep woods horror.
i dont think it changes anything, its weird tho, since the stuff you'd have to do are virtually impossible to guess. like shooting a random picture, staring at a random lamp, etc

It has a strong Texas Chainsaw vibe to it, which to be fair Resident Evil was usually pretty on the nose with its film influences.
Guys. I really liked the original trilogy. Jill valentine was my first wank. Even Code Veronica, and Deadly Silence. Zero and REmake were fucking golden, and RE4, while the beginning of the end, was still fucking great.

Is the demo entirely reliant on Jump Scares or is it closer to old RE/Silent Hill?
I don't really appreciate jump scares all that much to be honest.
The original trilogy fucking sucked, not enough action, slow as fuck controls and too horror-y, RE only got good at 5 and 6 only improved it.
I don't know if the good tines are coming, but I feel you, man. This s the first RE I've cared about in a long time, and this used to be one of my most beloved game IPs.
Well, hoping for zombies here. Those things are RE6 trash, I don't want to see them. They are not creepy, they're just ridiculous. Killed the whole atmosphere in the game.

There are no jump scares, even the bad ending "jump scare" is incredibly slow and drawn out so it can't possibly spook anyone. Honestly the demo relies more on 10/10 sound direction than anything.
There's one real jumpscare.

There also is so many illogical shit in this small demo alone like that old guy just disappearing way too blatantly, items just disappearing because you did something and cheap jump scares that make no sense like that baby doll.

There seems to be zombie look alikes. Behavior wise, they will probably act like zombies. They only become the mold monsters after a long incubation period, so there is no way this guy is turning into a mold monster.
Hunters are reptilian, not floppy sludge monsters.
When you get the infected ending you can see your character's hands slowly become like that guy's skin.
