This game needs a Final Mix / International version to come out in the next 2 years, badly.

If they make the combat more responsive and overall snappier then I'll buy it again.

Also, WHERE THE FUCK IS THE PRO PATCH

>we never get it because the game will be multiplayer one day

If they undo the rewrites and flesh out the story to what it was supposed to be I'd pay $80 again.

XII had the zodiac version, XII got a reboot and XIII had a whole trilogy. XV will for sure have a final mix/directors cut/season pass 1-3/remaster. The question is when and which of the above.

>final mix/directors cut/season pass 1-3/remaster
All, in one game, releasing in about 3 years. Insomnia invasion included (You play as Nyx about halfway through the game in a flashback to avoid inconsistencies.)

Screencap this post

> undo the story to be what it was
I hate you faggots
versus was never finished. Never completed. The story was never finalized.

But you'll swear based on seven years of a three minute teaser and ten screen shots you would have gotten something much better, despite all material showing otherwise (noctis having murdered freya and having AMNESIA, for instance)

Stick to your kingdom Hearts.

No no, I mean to be what it was in 2015ish.
The game had a lot cut and rewritten to the last minute well into 2016 because of feedback and external pressures, and it shows. There's no getting Versus back, and I accept that, but this is not the game the dev team wanted to release I can guarantee you that.
(The rewrites I'm talking about are what caused the inconsistencies between Kingsgliave/Brotherhood and XV, namely the crystal being a void/dark crystal [the Glaives coughing up black ash when using the crystal's power and Nyx having flashbacks to memories of his dead sister] and Noctis being able to enter the dream realm, hence him sleeping a lot in Brotherhood being a plot point [still kind of in the game with the Luna scene and the Omen trailer being spliced in, but obviously not to the extent that was originally planned.]

Cut content from FF15.
>Ardyn had a 3rd final form to fight in the crystal realm which was his demon form to free him.
>The crystal was a void crystal, darkness, and it was all a trick.
>The moon would get bigger and bigger.
>World of Ruin was explorable "going to be released as the multiplayer DLC for people to do hunts etc." but you was to meet your friends similar to FF6.
>Shiva area was finished but not used.
>Chapter 13 was more fleshed out, but cut.
>Content with Luna was cut after SJW backlash over the treatment of her in the movie and trailers.
>Noctus sleeps all the time because he is jumping into different worlds in his dreams and is drained.
>Luna was murdered by Noctus at the beginning but it was all a trick, it gets brought back up with the whole Throw Prompto From The Train Bit.
>First train area with the mine, all that was explorable.
>You can swim, but swimming was cut to keep you from visiting unexplorable areas. "glitch in Altissia proves this, user visited areas that are to be unlocked as DLC."

Who mentioned Versus :^)

Seriously though, why are there scenes missing from 2015? How can the story still not be finished one year before release?

>Luna was murdered by Noctus at the beginning but it was all a trick, it gets brought back up with the whole Throw Prompto From The Train Bit.
All of this is correct except this but, this was supposed to apply to Stella and Ravus in Versus, not XV.

contract stated the game had to be out before 2017, and the dev team said they needed an extra 6 months to complete the game.

It was the Darkness fucking with him, its seen in the Omen trailer, and then again during game "which is the Omen trailer."
but again, was cut due to the backlash females gave over treatment of women "Cindy."
It was also cut due to the Void Crystal being changed to a normal ass crystal, and ghosts being changed to demons.

And this is why releasing a Final Mix / International / Director's cut version in ~2 years would be the perfect solution for the dev team to finish the game and actually make money back instead of releasing free patches for the current version.

It really sucks for the dev team but I feel extremely jewed and regret not waiting a couple more years for the pc version.

>Final Fantasy 15 Directors Cut.
I can see this happening, and release it in time to be a PC release as well, since FF15 Dev said "give the PC version 2 years."

Why did they add the Omen trailer to the game when it had nothing to do with it and honestly made the story worse?

>>Luna was murdered by Noctus at the beginning but it was all a trick, it gets brought back up with the whole Throw Prompto From The Train Bit.

Explain further

>2 years
>Release Final Mix version w/ everything the way Tabata and the dev team wanted
>Release PC version with all of the changes to the Final Mix version at the same time
>Add the changes as paid DLC for anyone with the release version of the game
>Profit

hire me square enix

The Omen trailer wasn't added, it was planned a long time ago, and was to tie in with the story about the Void Crystal, but that story line was removed due to time constraints, yet assets still exist in the game, need more proof, just look at the crystal itself, its black, not light.

Leak from a "guy who worked at nintendo" who heard it from another guy while posting no proof
I'm not joking

I doubt there will be a Final Mix or Directors cut, making content for a game like FFXV is expensive & time consuming, expecting all focus to be on FF7R right now

But the cut content is interesting, when it comes to PC datamining will be the most fun thing about it, wonder if there is even some PS3 Versus 13 still in there

>I doubt there will be a Final Mix or Directors cut
The game is exceeding expectations and SE was developing FFXIII when the International version of 12 released, of course they're going to release some kind of Director's cut. They have a lot of the assets that were "cut" from the game so a lot of time wouldn't be necessary to re-develop them.
I just hope the opportunity for this isn't wasted.

>The Omen trailer wasn't added
Isn't that what the day 1 patch did?

Ardyn asks Noctus "just how long have you been in the dark." referring to him being sucked into darkness during his sleep, which is why he is so exhausted, projecting into other worlds, and so forth. Noct was supposed to be able to communicate with ghosts, and animals because he was chosen by the void crystal. But it would fuck with him, make him see things and realities that was not there, or he just became delusional due to constantly being in the darkness realm.

Noct at one point was supposed to think he killed Luna, but rewrites during the Kings movie forced them to rewrite the story for the game. The Omen Trailer has Void speaking at the end "Im looking forward to only one death." and that was I dont honestly know. Either bringing death to Ardyn to bring something back into the void, or Noct because he was granted some of its power.

Nocts father needed the ring to perform the feats he did, Noct dosent and the ring itself posses the power of Doom Train.

It was patched into the game sure, because of the lack of content, similar to scenes from the Kings movie, because there was a huge lack of story, content, etc.

Noct was even supposed to be told of his fate by Cor and reminded constantly by Gladio because he was afraid of dying but in the end, was removed. You still see bits of Gladio telling him what his responsibility is.
Cor was to replace Promto during the Shiva part and exploring the city etc. Once again, an user broke the area and went exploring, sure the youtube video is somewhere, but it wasnt much.

Does he speak to animals in the final game? i think in one of the demos he does?

The cat near the beginning, he seems to communicate with it fairly well.

Another example of the Void is left in the game, which is while Noct is sleeping he is having a convo with Luna while she is being swallowed up by darkness, it wasn't a dream, he was communicating with her ghost before she was swallowed up by the void. Destroying the Dark Crystal would free her and the other ghosts as well and stop the issue of monsters "deamons" and would make more sense why they are able to be happy at the very end.

Fuck off OP. Im pretty sure you are a marketer. Sup Forums never cared for being sold the same game twice, and it never will.

...

Square should just quit and go back to babby turnbased games

They are not competent enough to handle making a ARPG that's no extremely casualised. Leave that to the other superior nippon devs

I doubt they are done with this game.

They is so so so much unused assists just lying around from half-baked ideas.

They said no sequels, but am sure they are gonna do a $40 Expansion of some sort.

They already have a young regis model ready for the picture in garage. Flashback with Cid and old Regalia?

Thing is if you actually just watch the brotherhood anime and kingsglaive movie the game makes much more sense and is far more enjoyable. They're not terrible pieces of media by themselves either.

>Sup Forums never cared for being sold the same game twice
Tell that to MH fags and Musou fags

the game supports pro from the start, you mean ps4 pro right? there's a resolution option in-game

I couldn't care less, my first playthrough has already been ruined.

>there's a resolution option in-game
Is that seriously all we get?

that's all ps4 pro is, what else do you want? you can turn the resolution up and enable HDR like any other game

>what else do you want?
Stable framerate

Yes, but it's very phoned in.

This. No amount of regrouping cut content will replace the fact that early adopters beta tested

>$40 expansion redoing some of the story and adding onto existing story
>rerelease in one package as final mix 2 years from now

IT'S EASY SQUARE ENIX

Also higher framerate

there are inconsistencies between those (and the omen trailer) and the final game
see:

Maybe in 10 years when we get a PS system that isn't a decade behind in technology. No amount of optimizing/patching is going to get the frame rate to a stable 60 in this game

>This. No amount of regrouping cut content will replace the fact That early adopters beta tested
at least it has the chance to be rectified, unlike other games in similar situations

PIC VERY RELATED

It can easily get to a stable 30 with more optimization work, it actually already is on PS4 but the frame pacing issues (non existent on Xbone) make it seem like the FPS dips.
And they didn't have much time with the Pro before launch, so I wouldn't be surprised if it can get to 60 thru a patch.

At least MGSV had a good online and core gameplay

Why are so many people willing to pay for a fixed version? Any fixes that they make to the game should be in patches at no cost at all, why should consumers pay for the shortcomings of the company that's selling this shit?

>why should consumers pay for the shortcomings of the company that's selling this shit?

>shhhhhhh
>don't tell them that

Just thinking realistically. Of course we want it for free but it's not happening.

>implying XV doesn't have good gameplay

because we've done it before

Eh
I mean it's serviceable.

>2 years from now

I fully expect it by March 2018, honestly.

>All episode DLCs.
>All game patches.
>All Extra story
>New Dungons, Weapons..etc.
>The new expansion pack.

All for $60 retail. The new expansion would sell for $30 alone...and release the PC version the same day for extra hype.

It won't if Nomura can pull a success for KH3 and FF7R. Also, Tabata and the gang already have a new project so NOPE.

Why would SE not want to get as much out of a newly established, proven popular universe in FF?
A Director's Cut only makes sense, and they've done it before

that will be the day it comes out on steam

and PC gamers will pay 40 bux for it at GMG
