Honestly, I don't really care about Crysis, Cryengine, or whatever unannounced stuff they're working on, and I certainly don't care about their "premium free to play games".
I just hope they sell the rights to TimeSplitters to someone who will actually do something with it.
Alexander Baker
kek money grabbing faggots serves them right.
Jaxson Thompson
they CRYing now alright
Easton Myers
>backstab PC community >get cold shoulder from console community >die freezing to death in poverty before christmas
Pottery.
Daniel Richardson
Why graphics fags dont care about them?
Jace Parker
I desire to split once again.
Brandon Adams
What did crytek do to piss off Sup Forums?
David Moore
Beats me. I've always thought of their games as rather forgettable to be honest. was there every hype for the Crysis games? I feel like I only found out about Crysis 2 and 3 because I started seeing it on shelves.
Anthony Butler

Would timesplitters even work in today's gamingsphere?
>cant poke fun at minorities >women can't be sexualized >can make clever humor since the average consumer just wants ebin meme references >game wasnt competitive, so multiplayer is dead after a week >will defenitly have a chuink of the roster be DLC >
Parker Richardson
How? How are they money grabbing? How? How did they backstab the PC community?
Isaac King
IT'S TIME TO SPLIT ONCE AGAIN
Ethan Young
they complained that Crysis 1 didn't sell enough (even though it exceeded EA's expectations and still stands as the best selling title in the IP), blamed pirates, then developed the sequels for consoles and completely butchered the IP in the process because it became CoD: Aliens Edition.
Grayson Turner
Not me, must've missed that when i checked to see if there was already a thread. My bad.
Noah Bailey
Bought Free Radical and forced them to make Homefront instead of Timesplitters
Thomas Green
casualized crysis 2 and 3 for consoletards
Elijah Martin
They'll always have a job at the eternal Cloud Imperium Gaming, making ships and tech demoes for space cultists.
Ethan Collins
B-B-B-But their Ceo said there's nothing wrong with the company and they'll pay the employees?
Aiden Lewis
Crysis was a visual benchmark that every other game was compared to a decade after it's release.
And it's physics are still better than 90% of games made today.
Jonathan Cox
I think most of that stuff is fairly overblown. 99% of game buying consumers don't read or know about all the sources that care about, or point out that kind of"controversy". The usual suspects will whine and moan about whatever is "problematic", we'll all have a good laugh, and move on.
Jaxon Ward
What will happen with the Cryengine? Is it down to Unity vs Unreal again?
Blake Russell
But they were on consoles and that's what console peasants like. Blame console faggots. Not deving for PC is bullshit. But, they made an engine for the PC users to make their own games, while the Console fags get COD-lite. I see no problem with this.
Trying to create new IPs isn't fucking over anyone. Some games don't need a sequel. -And if they did make a sequel today, it would be utter trash.
Julian Ortiz
Fuck you it's been a decade it's time for a new one
William Allen
All of EA's studios seem to stick to their Frostbite engine, so I don't think we'll be seeing much of it anymore. It'll probably still be available to license, but I doubt it'll get any updates and will quickly become outdated and rather useless.
Caleb Morales
Except Timesplitters 4 was in developement, and everyone knew Free Radical could make good games besides Timeplsitters as well due to Second Sight.
Jack Kelly
should've released Timesplitters 4. Idiots.
Isaac Fisher
But it would be shit. see
Joseph Thompson
Crytek isn't closing down, why would a faggot think like this?
Joseph Morris
I'd like her to overblow me
Eli Martinez
The new timesplitters would've released a near decade ago. Not 'today'. Fuck off
Adrian Bailey
Or they could just do all those things anyway because they're brits?
Ryder Moore
I'm saying with severely reducing their workforce, their parent company already using the same engine across all their other studios, and no doubt extreme corporate pressure they're probably not going to be spending too much time working on updates for an engine almost no one besides them uses.
Kayden Jackson
ITS TIME TO SPLIT
Brody Miller
>mfw it's TIME TO SPLIT
Grayson Parker
>they will be using the engine >but they won't update it and will let it become useless >while they actively use it
