The majority of steam users have fucking toasters from the last millennium
>steam still doesn't allow animated avatars
Not really important, most of them would be edgy anime avatars anyway
That's a good thing though.
Come on user show us the animated avatar you want to use on steam so we can laught
that is a terrible idea and you should feel ashamed of yourself
Can't wait to show my friends my favourite green and purple avatar

More importantly:
>will be compressed to shit even if you upload a literal 1KB file
>this compression can actually make the filesize larger
>still 32x32 99% of the places you actually see them
>mfw steam still doesn't allow font size changes in the messenger

you are autistic if I have to explain that
why wouldn't something that moves be better than something that is just plain static? it would offer more possibilities and character for users and if you don't like it, you can use normal static avatars and/or deactivate the animations of other user's avatars so theirs would be static too.
>new steam update available
IT'S HERE, BOYS
n-nani?!
And here we have people who had a positive response toward an animated avatar.
So I don't see why you contrarian 40 year old farts are being so bitter about animated avatars, when it clearly is interesting and good.
Good. Survival of the fittest.
Excuse me?
