>have high IQ and basically a genius
>still lose to lower IQ in video games
Why do games reward lower intelligence play?
Have high IQ and basically a genius
Charge characters am I right?
>playing
That was actually a woman.
Because you may have 160 IQ or some shit but are you actually applying yourself? Are you utilising all tactics at your disposal, memorising map layouts and enemy patterns, adjusting for player behaviours?
Or are you just charging in like "I'm smart, I'm gonna do so good cus my intelligence makes me way better than everyone"?
This is what I see a lot with people who claim to be 'geniuses'. They never apply their intelligence, they think that merely having it will make them superior naturally. IQ means jack shit unless you utilise it. You could be 160+ IQ but still play like a lab monkey just throwing their shit all around in a cocky confident shitfest, whereas another average with 110 IQ is utilising each and every method they can to ensure their victory.
Fucking apply yourself. No games at all reward "lower intelligence play" - if you're not able to think up a way to outsmart your enemies then think of a way to adapt to their style and use it to subvert their attempts. If you're not able to do that, maybe you're not so smart at all and you've just lived your life in a passive-aggressive self-entitled haze because of some IQ test you took when you were 8.
To reiterate, fucking apply yourself.
if you fail to realize that you are playing the wrong genre maybe you are not as smart as you think.
you actually need to play against what your opponents are doing instead of what you think that they should be doing
>Why do games reward lower intelligence play?
Because you're a bad player.
A good amount of your intellect must be getting compromised by the urge to suck cocks.
>tfw the pilot of star trek was way better then the final product we got
what the fuck shatner is a hack compared to this guy
Wisdom>Intelligence>Intellivision
bravery is not a function of brainpower
>claims to have high iq
>doesn't understand skill

skill isn't equal to intelligence
intelligence isn't equal to iq
clearly you aren't that intelligent if you couldn't figure this out on your own.
>Sup Forums talks about how much it hates quotas
>constantly posts about intelligence quotas to prove how much better whites are than blacks
really clogs the noggin
>tfw to intellijaent too win at vidya gaems
You aren't as smart as you think you are
IQ stands for intelligence quotient, you brain dead fucking moron. So you even know what a quota is?
Being smart isn't being cunning.
The two don't equate.
>sees someone smart
>immediately tries to downplay him because you grew up with your parents constantly reassuring you that you were actually the smartest person ever and you can't accept anything differently
>quotient
>implying what's the next picture in this sequence tests has anything to do with maths or economics
>Be OP
>become a boxer
>Start training, coach tells me I learn astoundingly fast and that I'm really good at boxing.
>after training for 8 months he tells me it's time to fight
>I insist he lets me fight Jack Memeton, a guy with a record of 19 wins and 3 losses
>Coach tells me Jack Memeton didn't start off as a great boxer but has worked extremely hard and has achieved a very impressive level
>Lol I don't care
>Coach shrugs
>Day of fight comes by
>Fight and lose to Jack Memeton
>WOW DUDE WHAT THE HELL HOW DID I LOSE
This is only one example, of course. There are many factors as to why you can still lose while being smarter.
>see
>text posts
Not him but you proved your low intelligence
bioshock infinite
skyrim
>for honor technical test
>playing this absolute gimp of a character that doesn't even get to take advantage of his own throws/reversals after he's done them, enemies can block his shit immediately afterward
>still manage to wipe the floor with people by playing the guy the opposite of how the game tells you to
>have fun bashing people into walls and generally just pushing them around the arena
I feel like I was rewarded for my ingenuity, after realizing that this guy wasn't the defensive powerhouse he's supposed to be.
Just wanted to correct you that 100 is the average. 110 is already in the top 25%
>110 its top 25%
im 116 why i always feel im the stupid one?
Did you actually get tested or did you just take one of those online "tests"?
>MEMEton
Okay dude
>have IQ of 90
>in medical school
>going to make more money than 85% of you cuckolds
nice job geniuses
Is the helmet just a cuhrayzee cool design element or is that really what people wore to a fight?
you're biased from comparing yourself to a subset of people on the internet or your limited social group
Is there no online test that can be trusted? I'm curious to find mine
>dunning-kruger effect
I think it's a mixture of both.
Doesn't look too dissimilar from some real designs, but I can't exactly place it.
That said, medieval history is by no means my specialty. Helmet does look cool as fuck, though.
Because IQ is the biggest meme ever.
>play fighting game
>theorize best strategies, combos and mixups based on framedata and hours of training by recreating common situations
>opponent still wakes up with Ultra/EX unsafe attacks every single time
>lose
>tfw to intelligent to win in fighting games
Star Trek is better when it's camp, if you need evidence just look at the movies.
