I hate to say it, but the Power of the Cloud might have been more than just a meme for Titanfall. The reduced AI numbers on the maps we already have, even Angel City, indicates a loss in capacity that came from going multiplat. That more than anything is why the additions to Titanfall 2's AI roster in MP are all simply tougher and relatively dumber takes on the Spectre, so that battles can ramp up without increasing the NPC count.
There was a rationale give by Respawn for why they're out of Camped Hardpoint, but I don't buy it. Something about how inefficient it is to simply camp, how amping is better than clearing AI out of a point and that it works better all round. I just hate how quiet all the other modes are now.

If they said that, I don't know of any examples of them being taken up on the offer. It sounds like something that any publisher would say as a kind of bluff that they hope never gets called on, or that can't feasibly be called on.

He tried to get one more active off on the ring and pressed the key as the courier delivered the items he needed for it to upgrade into a bloodstone so the bloodstone active got used instead since he pressed it too late.
