both are amazing but XCX is an upgrade

>story
XBX, XB's story was generic
>writing
XB by far has some of my favourite writing in any JRPG, XBX has some of the worst writing of all time.

>main characters
XB, though this isn't saying much since XB's characters were really flat too.
>side characters
XBX by far

>world
XBX objectively has one of the best open worlds in general.

>combat
XBX's combat was an upgrade from the first game but that's not sayhing much since both games have lackluster combat systems
>gameplay outside of combat
XBX too.

>music
Both have great soundtracks but XB > XBX.

XB is still my favourite.

Equal - main characters in XCWii are better, but side characters of XCX are better than XCWii's

>not liking hip hop
faggots

>Story
XC, only by virtue that it exists
>Characters
XC, smaller cast of better fleshed out characters
>World
XC is more imaginative but XBX wins by sheer scale and detail.
>Combat
XCX's combat is a clusterfuck and way too simplified in Skell form. XC can be cheesed too but it's generally harder. Neither are good.
>Music
XCX has better tracks but utterly retarded usage of them. XC has less stand out songs but all of them are used in more sensible places.

New LA (Night) is unironically one of my favorite video game songs.

>liking shitty music that isn't really music anyway

Patrician taste coming through lads.

>Story
XB by far. X has a lot more potential for lore but they didn't really take full advantage of it
>Characters
XB had better overall characters but the side characters in XBX are fantastic. I'll consider this a tie
>World
XB had more varied and unique locations while XBX had more basic locations but XBX puts a lot more detail in every small piece so I'll consider this a tie too
>Combat
Easily XBX. Everything was a straight up improvement other than the lack of a real magic class which I miss
>Music
I personally prefer XB overall but XBX had a couple really good tracks
