>bought a 1070 on cyber Monday

>yesterday I go to their house for a day to pick it up
>come back home today and install it
>played some vidya
>about 3 hours in
>switched games probably 30 times trying to find something fun
>can't find anything fun

Starting to regret this purchase...

Guess it's time for you to enter the world of emulation

Then I have to fully accept that I wasted my money. I don't know if I'm ready for that yet

get better games OP

Sell your PC and get a PS4® Pro with a one-year PS Plus subscription.

I had the same trouble as you. Then, I sold my gaming PC and bougth a Xbone, a PS4 and a WiiU (that's how expensive my high-end rig was).
You have no idea how much I started enjoying games again, like someone awakening from a coma.

Only upgrade your PC if you do something productive on it and need the upgrade for that. Never just upgrade because you wanna play games maxed.

That's actually better than how I thought the story was gonna go.

It's harder to enjoy PC games than it is console games.

I don't know why this is.

Because PC isn't intended to be used to play games. They're work machines and that's it.
"It won't feel right on PC" isn't a meme.

should i get the 1050 or rxb460

>got a gtx 970 for 90 dollars this christmas
>dual xeon E5-2687W and server motherboard for 200 dollars
>mfw

best part is that once I get bored and sick of videogames, I have an actual server/workstation.

Why wont you just return it you fucking idiot

Games will always be more fun on consoles op, never forget that. Consoles are boxes made by manufacturers for playing games. You go to the store and buy a video game and put the disc in and play rather than soullessly give money to the computer and hunch over with a shitty keyboard, worry if the port is fucked, or set up a million drivers so your xbox controller works and doesnt randomly disconnect itself

Rest in peace mr frog-o

Here is your reply

1050 is a meme
Stick to a 750 ti or wait until you can afford a 1060

>a 1060
>don't get a meme, get a meme instead
1070 or go home
1080 is overkill
1060 is a joke

you truly did since emulation is more cpu-bound
anyway,
>falling for the video games meme

If he can't afford a 1050 what makes you think he can afford a 1440/120hz monitor, idiot? 1070 is for either 4k or 120/144 hz

>You go to the store and buy a video game
base game only, season pass is $50 extra
>and put the disc in and
free up some hard drive space
install HUGE day 1 patch
install the expansion content you don't even own because the developer is too retarded to attach the data to the DLC file (unless it's Turn 10)
connecting to servers for single player game...
>play

The idea of a high end gayman pc is interesting but it feels like there isnt anythinh that justifies it

>buying hardware without games to play on it
Hello PS4 at launch
But don't worry, the good games will come out a few years later
>and now you need to upgrade your hardware
