Tommy owed him.

The Band of the Hawk all explicitly said, at one point or another, that they're willing to die for Griffith's dream.

Kerghan from Arcanum is right in-universe since the Afterlife is bliss but life is often quite terrible (especially in a crappy industrial setting) yet reincarnation and necromancy exist.
He choose the easy way out iyou offer him a device able to kill him forever and you can make a point about how life can be valuable for a lot of people (the pleasure of growth can only come with adversity) but you still don't give the choice to most people and your position is not stronger just because this is the default situation.
I'm not normally for killing everyone so they can go in a afterlife, but when this afterlife is better for 99% of people and everyone is going reincarnated for all eternity or stuck as a ghost because the 1% can have some extra pleasure from overcoming adversity, then it would be like refusing utopia and let billions suffer because a minority love hardwork.
A bit why so many nihilistic villains are misused because they are right within their universe but you are supposed to have a knee jerk reaction to them because they "symbolize" escapism and pointless nihilism in real life. (Like a villain create a better reality fot everyone still as real and viable as the old one, but he is wrong because such a thing is impossible in real life so you must despise him because muh escapism)

Dagoth Ur was bringing justice to those who betrayed him and freeing his people from the nwahs.

Go to bed griffith

>god fucks with you
>kill god
>become god, go back in time and fuck with yourself so you can become god

Not only did he owe him but he just up and decided to take over his business?

I don't even remember there being a monologue where Tommy and Lance said 'hey lets kill Diaz and then Sonny'. It just kind of happened and your expected to go along with it.

Didn't tommy also wanted to pay him with fake bills? Damn tommy is a dick I love him

>Set up Tommy to die by hiring 11 goons to kill him
>Tommy comes out alive with 11 murders on his hands
>Gets sent to prison for 15 years
He was even surprised they let Tommy out. I mean, thinking about it, why the fuck did they? 15 years for 11 murders? But anyway, Sonny fucked over Tommy and he knows it.

>15 years for 11 murders?
it was self defense

Then why did he get any jail time at all?

For all the effort the games go through to tell you that Nilfgaard is evil and Geralt and all the Witchers should hate them for their evil ways, they are not that bad.

They are a little bit extreme in doling out punishment and a little trigger happy about it and sure, there is some evidence of forced labor BUT this labor typically is for the good of a populace. They provide food rations to the needy. They provide pay for soldier families if they die in battle They ensure that battlefields are cleared quickly after they take land to ensure the populace does not get infected by pathogens. They hire Witchers to deal with monsters out of their own pockets rather than leave it a problem to be solved by individual villages. They are not nearly as racist towards dwarves, elves, halflings and Witchers, and magic users. Their leader is not a people burning asshat who lets a dangerously paranoid band of witch hunters run free in his kingdom, burning priceless knowledge and closing institutions of learning. They also don't fuck their sister and don't go to war over something as stupid as potential bastard heirs.

>is shoved into a machine that makes him crazy with power
>gets blasted into space
>he just wants to say sorry at the end ;_;

Lance was after Diaz for killing his brother which Tommy helped out with, Lance then joins with Sonny because Tommy treats him like shit. Tommy is after Sonny because he tried to kill him.

tommy killed diaz because he had his goons ambush his drug deal and killed lance's brother.

Wrong, the only reason he got 15 years was because he didn't snitch on the Forelli family. So they used their connections to get his sentence reduced.

You are correct. Pic related also did nothing wrong.

He didn't do anything wrong, but he went about it all the wrong way.

...

John had it coming. He was a criminal

wheres the god damn money

Treats him like shit cause he's an incompetent dumbass
>There goes our careful planning gone to shit. Thanks to you. You screwed up real good Lance.
>YOU CALL THIS HANDLING IT!?

>For all the effort the games go through to tell you that Nilfgaard is evil and Geralt and all the Witchers should hate them for their evil ways, they are not that bad.

The games themselves - as an objective experience - never really say this though. Every time you hear about how evil and bad Nilfgaard is, it's always from the perspective of poor, uneducated villagers who just want to live their lives free of war (and have likely been influenced by Redanian/Temerian propaganda) or higher-ups who have a vested interest in keeping their respective kingdoms intact.

In TW3 the decision to help or not help Nilfgaard is largely framed in the context of Geralt's personal relationship/rivalry to Emyhr, not whether or not it's the "right" thing to do from a geopolitical perspective.

Yes he did. Tommy did 15 years in prison because Sonny "Where's my fuckin momey" Forelli either had Tommy set up or Tommy killed a few faggots and was branded the "Butcher" or something.

Tommy didn't go for him until he built his empire in Vice because there would probably be a price on his head if he did Sonny. When Tommy had power to match him and fatass decided he wanted to roll down to Vice to try and get a piece of Tommy's pie, that's when Tommy decided no more pie for that landwhale and ended his life.

Factoid! Claude killed what was left of the Forelli's in GTA III.

>send a guy to do some drug deal
>his only backup is a lawyer and two other goons
>deal goes to fucking shit because Sonny tried to play ball in Ricardo Diaz's backyard
>tell the guy he stole 15 years from to get the money and the drugs back
>with no support whatsoever
Tommy had no reason to hand over a complete fucking empire to Sonny

You call this handling it?

Toni Cipriani really did a number on them, too.

>being so inhuman you don't understand the difference between someone fighting for their leader and someone getting torturously murdered

Shut up Femto

>finds a way to win a hopeless war with little to no risk
>game expects you to hate him for it because...uhh something about power being bad?
>during the final battle, YOU STILL END UP USING HIS IDEA TO WIN AND IT WORKS OUT PERFECTLYDGTDHFXTHAR4GE

>tfw you realize we would, without a doubt, live in a better world if based Adolf had won the war

>gets ability to kill people

That was the most 'that escalated quickly' in the history of anything.
