The only thing I know how to do as Laura is jump in heavy punch into the two heavy punches into her air grab move

If you can execute a jump in combo canceled into a special move like that you have the basic concept.
Look at how the rules of the moves work together. What can be canceled?
Hit the trials for laura and do them. It will teach you some more combos.

yeah that's natural.

Eventually you'll get a feel and some muscle memory for where up and down trigger on your controller, and that problem will go away. It can take some time.

Connections to be improved, loading time between matches to be improved, not for the game to reset your battle settings (such as desired connections, match requests, etc) every time you start the game, not for the game to reset your training settings every time you restart the game, working lobbies. Basic QOL shit that shouldve been in the game from day one.

And Juri to be redesigned to play closer to how she did in SF4. I didnt read all the patch notes but from what I gathered they nerfed more characters who didnt need it comapred to who did, and buffed more characters who didnt need to compared to who did.

I don't think Mika is nerfed that hard. I was worried when you couldn't change the direction of Passion Press but you can still do it. Just cr hp sucks now and really can't be abused any more

I'd put her at the bottom of the "viable" tier. She works as hard as you do, but still not as good as Ken, etc.

It's too early too tell. I vouch for Ibuki because she got nothing but buffs. Almost every nerf she got was traded for an improvement somewhere else, (like her front throw doing less dmg and stun, but her back throw doing more of both.)

That said, from what I'm reading, on Twitter, not too many people are happy with where Nash, Birdie, Alex, and Mika are now. Again: it's waaaay too early to be making cemented tier lists, but it's easier to look at Ibuki, Juri, Zangief, and some others and say "they're definitely better now."

I lost to an ibuki earlier but I perfected her once. The conclusion we can draw is that she's a broken slut but I'm also the greatest sometimes.

It's always hard to tell where someone like Ibuki lies compared to others. She's based on resets and mix-ups. Her damage will never equal someone like Ken's or Ryu's in solid chunks, but how do you measure how well a character has the capacity to confuse someone? It's hard to gauge.

Yeah I dunno, fighting games always have character like her that shit all over me 80% of the time until I learn what they can do and then they get a lot easier.
