It's pretty cool that tracer is a faggot and shit but more importantly, when will they buff Sombra?
It's pretty cool that tracer is a faggot and shit but more importantly, when will they buff Sombra?
Who knows. I tried her out today and she's kinda fun to play. She is lacking though.
How could they buff her without people screaming she's overpowered?
Something needs to be done Zen manhandles her.
Can't wait until they do, a bullied a rein so much that he got so paranoid he kept swinging his hammer just to find where I was.
Lower her spread and reduce her cooldowns so that you don't get punished for actually trying to do what the character is suppose to do: hack. Increasing her dps will just make her op and make reaper useless, but knowing blizz they will do that anyway.
absolutely who is saying this
>nobody plays her in QP or comp
>people scream at sombra to change in both gametypes
>increase the active time on her teleport
>make it so hacking only gets cancelled if you take damage beyond a certain threshold (say, 50) instead of a single stray bullet
There. Sombra is now actually useful while still retaining her counters
I hate her shoes
How far does her hack go? I feel like I have to up someone's ass for it to work.
She needs more combat competency considering her role is technically DPS. Her utility doesn't compensate for her shit gun and lack of in-combat tricks outside of "run away." She's clearly meant to be a flanker/come from behind asshole except she's not scary in the slightest
Any hero with sustained fire will push her shit in, IE half of the cast.
Yup, then its better to just start shooting since trying to hack will get you killed. Her tool set it interesting but blizz just made it too restricting.
>stealth hero
>can't do shit while in steath, not even hack
>leaving stealth has a 1 second delay
>sombra ANNOUNCES leaving stealth
>hacking is interrupted by 1 point of dmg
>hacked targets don't lose their passives (i.e. climbing and double jump still possible)
>hacking is on a 12 second cd
>there are few enemies that are even worth hacking instead of just shooting
>gun has okay dps but narrow targets such as widowmaker or tracer can evade 50% of the bullets because the fuck huge spread
>translocator gives you about 5-10 seconds to pull something off or die miserably
>ult is ok
:(
Oh I guess Sup Forums wants to talk some more about gay tracer.
Actual vidoe games are secondary.
>attacking on Hanamura
>can't destroy arcade machines anymore
WHAT IS THIS BULLSHIT
fuck you, Sup Forums isn't for talking about games
Sombra players are as shit as the trifecta of shit players.
>can see her teleport node
>her in/out of stealth is loud
>she's predictable as fuck and even more so with the shits that pick her in QP
>sombra players are shit
>because the character is gimped
>You're a shit driver
>because your car is actually a bathtub
You have to be a shit driver to use a bathtub though
Teleporter now remains active permanently until you teleport to it. Teleporters can be destroyed by enemies one second after being place (so you can still chuck one in and TP before it blows up if you just need to get on point ASAP or something).
You can move at 75% speed while hacking
Reduce weapon spread slightly
You can hack whilst taking damage
there now she is viable.
No. Just think for once.
Someone with perfect aim and who could use her abilities in the most optimal way still wouldn't do as good with her because the hero is shit, not the player
Do you really fail to grasp this?
And no, jsut trying her out and trying to make her work does NOT make anyone bad or good.
My main issue with her is that she's a CC support character with no hard CC.
The most she can do is remove abilities in a large AoE and while that gives a noticeable advantage, it's not worth having her on the team.
Meanwhile, Mei can lockdown a point like her life depended on it.If she ults, you gotta hope her aim is bad, your team has a Dva that can zap the droid, or that a Zeny can embrace you with the Iris.
I think someone who actually knows what they're doing, and coordinates with their team could make good use of sombra. Hacking healthpacks gives crazy health regen and she takes up an offense slot. She has an escape and her damage isnt bad.
>your team has a Dva that can zap the droid
wait what is this?
you mean
>when will they turn sombra into a dickgirl?
oohhh you mean diva can defense matrix the projectile and cancel the alt? I didn't know that but it makes sense if so.
The problem is that the required effort for the potential pay off is too big when tracer and or genji are safer
D.va can zap it but has approximately .0001 nanoseconds to do it. Once it "lands" it can't be matrix'd.
Genji can reflect it
I'm sure it's just for the snow theme. Probably using a little bit of extra RAM or something.
>Short range hack
>Dies to everything when in range to hack
some hacker
interesting, so it's something that someone with good game sense could potentially predict, but the vast majority of times would be sheer luck.
>Uses the term faggot
>Plays Sombra
Does not compute
explain
I'd like to see some adjustments as well. Everything is too time sensitive with her. Invis and healthpack hack duration are ok. Needs shorter cooldown on hacking and teleporter. I hate having to wait 5 seconds after teleporting back to my healthpack to throw the teleporter again and I don't like not being ready to hack an enemy on my first trip out from my healthpack. Also, the teleporter really doesn't last long enough. It pretty much lasts long enough for you to invis to an enemy and almost kill them. It needs to be at least a few seconds longer. Playing Sombra often means too much time spent waiting around for my shit to charge up and not enough time spent fighting.
One other thing- I wish that getting shot when going invisible didn't cancel the speed gain of the ability. i.e. you still get the speedboost but enemies can see and shoot you. If your teleporter expires, you have no escape mechanism and are literally fucked.
>remove the delay when exiting from stealth
>remove the announcement when she decloaks
>teleport is now permanent but can be destroyed once it lands (not mid-air though, to avoid fucking up her in fight mobility)
>hack is now instant / significantly faster if no enemy player has vision on sombra (does not apply during stealth, torb's turret counts as a player in this case)
pick one and she's fine
>when the entire game revolves around sub-1 second ttk abilities but you make a character that does not have these and has to basically kill itself to counter them
you missed out the part that it announces to all players when you enter stealth
Sombra has a fade time into invisibility, which is also part of the total invis duration; during the fade she will flash bright pink, it's bright enough that any player with half a brain who sees it in the corner of their screen will know that you are there
You're almost always better off just walking in
make her hack faster or make her hacks unstoppable (other than getting out of los)
put a cooldown on how often she can rehack the same character
Then get a better brain that computes better.
