hey guys,i just wanted to ask a quick quesion, should i buy the ps vita ?

i have heard that the ps vita is the perfect console if you are a weeb,so i thought this might be the console that i'm looking for

Its a good investment, especially if you like weeb games. I've put more hours into it than probably any other console just because I used it as a FF/MGS/Persona machine, so its not even exclusively for weeb taste.

As a recommendation, pick up Freedom Wars. Its not really weeb but it has really good character customization and fun combat with diverse weapons

This. Also if you like vn's get danganronpa or steins gate(or both). Also persona 4 is god tier rpg for the system. If you want an fps I've heard killzone mercenary is pretty good(4 hour singpleplayer though so be warned). The binding of isaac rebirth works surprisingly well on it.
Also get the 16 gb memory card to start off.

Just bought a Vita last week and a physical copy of Gravity Rush. I'm having lag problems. The first lag was a boss fight in the academy in Plejaune. When I'm near the boss, I got 1 or 2 second lag. I didn't lag when I was far away. Now, I just fought Nevis in the kid village under the giant tree, I got terrible lag. But as I cut down the number of enemies, it was letting up. Is this normal, or should I get my Vita swapped from the store? I don't have any other games so I don't know.

hack it and overclock it

It's probably normal but I haven't tried GR yet
Do what said
If you already updated then definitely try and swap it

Not planning on modding it till the warranty expires. Do a lot of combat-heavy games lag?

been playing world of ff, dragon quest builders and toukiden never had lag issues

>Do a lot of combat-heavy games lag?
Not in my experience. Only time I ever had that issue was in MGS2 during the particle effects
also,
>Not planning on modding it till the warranty expires
Same but probably wait until Sony completely drops support and it no longer gets updates

Tons of weeb games with more coming.
Just take note of these shits.
They're getting harder to find unless you import.

Is the save game located in the memory card or is it in the vita? If I'm going to swap it, I was planning on play-testing it.

Buy a US or EU model under 3.60 and get CFW

If you've got a gen 1 Vita then its on the card. Not sure about gen 2 or PS TV since I think those have (usable) internal storages

It's a bit of a mixed bag.
If you're doing OLED, it won't save unless you have a memory card.
Slim has its own Gig of storage so it'll save there.
A few games save directly onto the game card, though it's more of games released around 2012-2013 that do, like Ninja Gaiden Sigma+ or Ragnarok Odyssey.

You already have to open a special support case for Vita units and "fulfilled by Amazon" products aren't considered in waranty.

hope you're not updating it either then because >3.60 hacks will never happen
total waste of the console not to hack it
