Never ever has the Final Fantasy franchise got such an emotional, heartfelt scene before.

Whatever.
Okay, Versus XIII with FFXV Magic System would be GOAT, yes?
How was this scene sad? At all?
The characters were fucking awful, and if you wanted to learn more about them; you had to go to outside sources. Such as Kingsglaive or FFXV anime series. They were barely worth learning about either, Ignis being the calm one who always keeps the group in order, Prompto being the one with the "im not rly happy, im actualy super depressed with my smile diisguising me", and Gladio being the tough, but has a soft spot for his sister.
How can you care about these cardboard cutouts of characters at all? It's like they stole their scripts from a shounen and called it a day,
B8, average at best and everyone knows it.
>with FFXV Magic System
I fucking hate this magic system
I like how the setting combines masterfully elements of magic and technology.
This may have been done before, but never the balance was so good, the graphics so polished.
And the story is deeply melancholic, thankfully there are side quests to bring a smile to the player's face.
And the music helps, even more helpful if you watch the King's Glaive animation.
Makes the start of the game all the more impactful, with the antithesis of moods.
Don't fuck up my thread, bitch boy
It would.
This isn't gamefaqs. Your post count didn't go up.
They're fine for video "garbage" games standards. This isn't Citizen Kane.
Why? Crafting magic was fun and I liked to see the effects from different items added to it
Stop. Final warning.
*thumbs up* This is the post I was looking for.
yeah, it made me feel happy since this garbage game was finally over
tfw ardyn did nothing wrong
>They're fine for video "garbage" games standards. This isn't Citizen Kane.
Not when we've had others games with more character depth, especially in earlier FF games.
I'm in chapter 13 and hating my life. Should I keep playing or is this a good spot to call it quits with the game?
I like the one in LR where Caius was finally happy... kinda. He's really a pitiful villain. Creepy but pitiful.
Chapter 13 is arguably the worst part, the game doesn't improve much later on though besides the Ifrit boss fight
Just play through it and bug aranea into your game
The game was rushed garbage that explains nothing
What the fuck even happened to Cor
You're wrong. Only an idiotic manchild would find anything in this artificially stitched together monstrosity genuine or heartfelt.
What? It's the best Magic system we've had in ages in an FF game. You could customize your spells, make them INCREDIBLY powerful and able to wipe out entire battalions of enemies at once, add special debuffs to them, etc. Was fun as shit.
Everything just explodes. No fireballs, no controlled lightning like in the FFXV movie, no ice chunks, etc.
Also there's only three elements. No air, no earth, no water, and no gravity without Prompto. No fun spells like haste. There's just nothing. It's no fun.
Why does no one in these threads ever mention the end of FFX? Tidud says goodbye, Yuna trys to grab him and runs through him falling on the ground, as it finally dawns on her he's just a dream she tells him she loves him, he embraces her and then leaves. Smash cut afterwards to her whistling to the ocean.
I cried.

Bonus points for her giving a speech afterwards about loss.
Like what?
...
Give me a few examples senpai.
guess you haven't played Vagrant Story
ff2 deaths
ffx ending
ffvii aeris
ffv main character death
>Your cock. It's... more than I can take.
Barrett from FF7 is really fleshed out. As is Cloud. The plot of FF7 is so detailed most people don't even know half the shit about it because its all side content that fills out the world.
FF9 has Garnet, Freya, Zidane, Steiner, and Vivi who all have complete character arcs.
FFX has the kost fleshed out party besides Khimari. Lulu loves Wakka, Wakka lost his brother who looks like Tidus, Tidus himself is a dream, Yuna has to come to terms with suicide to bring about the calm and fall in love at the same time, Auron wants to help his old friend die and is also a dream, Riku has an entire arc in the desert fleshing out Yuna and Riku being related and what type of people the Al Bhed are.
2 was awful
I never much cared for tidus.
This is true
I really need to play 5
>never cared for Tidus
Who gives a shit about Tidus? You should be feeling for Yuna, shes the one who has to live without him.
Cloud's entire only real growth was him shattering his persona but barret was amazing.
>Tidus himself is a dream
I think you'll find he's a the collective innaccurate memory of a celebrity water-polo player who later on went on to become genocidal because he wanted to get his dick wet outside of the swimming pool for once
...
As someone who just replayed it last week, Cloud goes from being snooty to being confused to being used and lied to to having his persona shattered to becoming himself again and coming to terms with what that means. Then to top it all off he still decides that killing Sephiroth is the right thing to do. Thats WAY more development than any of the FFXV characters got.
Caught me off guard, holy shit
>Thats WAY more development than any of the FFXV characters got.
That's bullshit. Gladio has an entire arc dedicated to his confusion and yearning desire for the discovery of how to make the ultimate flavour experience
All of that happens at the very end of the game and killing Sephiroth wasn't something grow in any way.
Just finished the game a couple hours ago. I was expecting a cutscene after the credits, but this one caught me completely off guard.
I'll admit, I teared up.
Man, Delita was pretty tragic, but most of the hardships were self inflicted. Understandable, since really the only tragedy that wasnt his fault was one of the hardest hitting in the entire series
>the end of the game
You might want to replay the game. The entire game Jenova is parading him around like a puppet. Then again you could just be one of those people who doesn't even know its not Sephiroth that killed Aeris.
His growth occurs in the hot springs with tifa.
Up until that point he's just an interesting crazy person.
Never forget them, user.
