I used to have some problems with ATI back in the day so I switched to Nvidia and I haven't had a single problem since then, but now I'm really starting to consider buying AMD when I decide it's time to upgrade from my 980. Really annoyed they changed shadowplay too, it was fucking perfect before. I'm also afraid to even update my drivers past 362.00 because the drivers recently have been fucking shit.

Far as I remember reading, you'll also get some free games a la PS+ and some other features, but otherwise it's pretty pointless and you can still get drivers without GFE.

Hitman stutters even on a Titan X Pascal. Just like Mafia 3. These games just have poor optimization. Although DX12 in Hitman runs very nice lately, Dx11 on the other hand is horrible.
These stutters are related to streaming.
Hitman is one of the worst optimized games I've ever played. I only have the paris map but I get crazy and unbearable stuttering with fluctuating frame times for some unknown reason. I actually had to uninstall it because I literally couldn't play it.

Well I bought a 970 about a year ago knowing full well about the 3.5 GB of VRAM. The reason being a few things.
It was the best thing that fell in my price range.
3.5 GB of VRAM won't make a difference for me since I play at 1080p.
And most importantly it uses far less power than it's AMD competitors meaning it generates far less heat. That's a big deal for me considering I live in a hot region and usually have my door closed which means my room can get very hot while playing games. And heat has not been an issue since I bought it. So it was a wise decision.
