Hardly, I'm not even finished yet and its appears to be taking about as long as Pirates Curse and Risky's Revenge. Even more playtime will be spent getting all the collectibles, doing speedrun(s) for achievements and the other campaigns when they are released that will probably only cost a few quid/bucks each.

There is plenty of meat in this game, especially as it was only £15 ($20 for ameribros).

The game is just really fun on top of that. It just puts me in a good mood with the fun visuals and great upbeat music combined.

the game was pretty fun but I was disappointed in several things

>despite the presence of several upgrades you almost never need to use them, when they could have been used to solve several puzzles
>ie: you get the upgrade for the spider form which lets you shoot poison or the upgrade for the harpy that lets you shoot feathers but there are no places in the game that actually require you to have these

Yeah HGH is better than RR and the GBC game, imo. Like user said, the dances are great, but a third of the power ups and dances are almost useless. Unlocking an attack for the spider form should've been default.

I really wanted to like this game. I backed for $250 specifically for my art book and CD, but I just feel really let down and disappointed in the "final" product.

Never played a Shantae game before but backed this because it was $15 and I didn't care. The platforming feels pretty good and the music is great but boy combat is total shit and unlocking abilities is really not fun, but I hate Metroidvania games so that last one is just my personal beef.
