Ultrawide monitors would be a better replacement for 16:9 monitors than 4K monitors, more vision with excellent fidelity, 4K is a fucking meme if I ever say one. VR will become an almost required peripheral in 10 years.

Hmmm... maybe wait for a higher res one to come you can see the low resolution with all headsets at the moment.
If you can get a headset with foveated rendering in mind like PSVR has currently then i would tell you to hold out for that.
