One Way Heroics thread? A friend of mine got it for me and I'm having a bunch of fun.

I've been going through it on easy on every class, trying to unlock stuff and get a hang of the game.

Any tips? I like Knight the best so far, shields are OP.

>shields are OP
>Accessory
>No
Where's that shield?

And is this Plus or the base game?

It broke at the last moment
I went straight into plus, is there a difference? I just assumed plus was the main game+expansion

Heroes are the best class.

What are heroes? I haven't unlocked that yet, is it a jack of all trades kind of thing?

Pretty much the strongest class in the game by far. Their only flaw is that they take increased damage by enemies from the sides and behind, but that's not a problem if you have a companion. Also they can become naked and lose their ability to equip clothes but make up for it with massively increased damage output.

Plus has some mechanics changed around and introduced.

For example, the base game doesn't have rotting food.

Any other tips for harder difficulties?

Well first of all I would focus on unlocking all the classes and perks before you move on to higher difficulties.

OWH is the shit. I loved that game.

Granted I remember almost nothing about it now but hell it was fun.

Was that with the hero class? Do you remember what weapon you used?

Try to carry around as many escape items as you can.

Teleport pills, scrolls of confusion, ivy tentacles, etc.

Little girl Mila is one of the few companions you can recruit without charisma.

If you grab the lockpicking skill, using it to unlock things gives you EXP.

Pick your fights, don't be afraid to run if it's not favorable.
You should almost always have a shield.
Don't hoard items, if you have something you think is niche, it's better to try and use it asap.
If you're having a hard time coming across decent weapons, kill weak things with your fists to save durability on what you got.
Bread crusts give 10% energy, it's more useful then you think.
Always have a tool/weapon to break walls/chests with, or take the lockpicking perk.

Any tips for what perks to pick/what's the easiest way to unlock shit? Like I've said I've just been going through with each class

It's the Hero class, it says it on the evaluation.

If you ever meet a Berserker, watch out for the Ultimate Stone Throw, that thing's no joke.

They won't use it if you're in melee range though.

Lockpicking's a safe bet for long term runs, +STR will help you get through the early game if you're not pulling weapons from the dimensional vault, +CHR as required depending on the class if you want companions. Or you could just stack 5x Pro-Wrestling and beat the shit out of everything with your fists. Other then that, everything comes down to preference, but most of the perks that give things like +Item Identify or +Crit don't really give much unless you 5x them.

The best way to unlock things is simply just by being good at the game and/or getting good runs, since better runs = better points = more currency.

I find 2 item identification perks works well enough.

When you have two or three Salacia's Staves go for a 10k run with a force user.
It's gonna take a few hours, but it's the most fun you'll have with this game. Pic related.

konosuba a shit.

Anybody want to save a dimension together?

No way, fag.

If it were a couple hours earlier, I'm right about to go to bed.
