The fact that some of the stuff wasn't that good doesn't invalidate the rest. And the CoD "demo" was paid so you could sell it on g2a or some shit.
HB doesn't limit the copies, devs do. And giving away stuff for free costs potential lost sales.

The Frozen Synapse games have their own multiplayer infrastructure, so they have separate keys for that.

Humble monthly is pretty good if you actually want the revealed game. I got Dragon's Dogma and a bunch of ok to good games for $12.
