Yeah I'm with you there. Though it's sometimes nice to fantasize of staving off death for far longer than any human ever could, it's mostly just because I want more time to do everything and see some neat shit and experience hundreds of years of history. The thought of my own death annoys me more than it scares me. The thought of someone dear to me dying is another matter entirely though.

Most people just don't like the idea of non-existence. It's comforting to some but terrifying for others. True, thinking logically, it shouldn't be a big deal.
